The Best Water Parks in Singapore Where Even Adults Like Me Can Have Fun
The Singapore heat is no joke. I’m still not used to how hot the country can get, especially in the summer. Fortunately, there are ways for us to beat the heat, and one of them is going to a water park!
There are the classic parks with giant water slides, and there are unique concepts like an inflatable house floating at sea. The best part is many of these are free!
Here are some of my favorite water parks in Singapore so far if you’re looking for recommendations.
Wild Wild Wet at Downtown East
Address: 1 Pasir Ris Cl
Operating Hours:
- Monday, Wednesday to Friday—12 to 6 pm
- Saturday and Sunday—11 am to 6 pm
Contact Number: +6565819128
Website
Located in Pasir Ris, Wild Wild Wet is arguably Singapore’s most popular water park—and for good reason. This place is incredibly massive, and you can find many rides and slides that will undoubtedly pump adrenaline into your veins.
Free Fall is my favorite so far, but be warned: this is not for the faint of heart. This ride basically plunges you down a near-vertical drop, and you can totally feel your heart skip a beat (or two) and your insides float inside your body.
If you want something less extreme and more kid-friendly, you should try Kraken Racers. This is a four-lane water slide, so you can slide together if you want. Better yet, you might want to race each other and see who reaches the finish line first!
Pro Tip: Looking for a unique venue for your birthday? You can celebrate it at Wild Wild Wet!
Adventure Cove Waterpark at Resorts World Sentosa
Address: 8 Sentosa Gateway, Sentosa Island
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday—10 am to 5 pm
Website
Another popular water park is Adventure Cove, which is located on Sentosa Island. What makes this park stand out from the rest is that it celebrates marine life as well, so you can meet a few adorable animals while splashing about here.
Adventure River is the one my family and I keep going back to. This ride essentially lets you lay back and drift down the “river,” passing by different themed zones with their own animals. It’s such a relaxing experience!
If you want to get your heart racing, try the Pipeline Plunge. You’ll start out in a dark tunnel, and then you’ll come across several radical twists and dips! You might end up losing your voice after screaming so much!
Pro Tip: I recommend renting a private cabana. That way, you can get away from the crowd and rest whenever you feel like it.
HydroDash
Address: 54 Palawan Beach Walk
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday—12 to 6 pm
- Saturday and Sunday—10 am to 6 pm
Contact Number: +6562777090
Website
HydroDash is such a unique water park because it’s actually a bounce house in the middle of the sea. Of course, it’s not just any regular bounce house; it’s an obstacle course that tests your balancing skills!
This park boasts many different floats. The little ones in my family love the Action Tower XXL because they have to climb and crawl to the top and then jump into the sea. Meanwhile, I love the Plank because trying to stay balanced on it is so much fun!
You can book either a one-hour or two-hour session in this water park. I know that doesn’t sound like much, but it’s actually more than enough. Playing here is quite a workout, and I’m sure you’ll feel exhausted once your time is up.
Pro Tip: The best time to come here is during high tide because that’s when you’re allowed to jump off the float. Before booking your ticket, you can check the tide timings first.
Aqua Adventure at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir
From: vivianteowriter
Address: 900 Bedok North Rd
Operating Hours:
- Tuesday to Friday—10 am to 2:30 pm, 3 to 7:30 pm
- Saturday and Sunday—10 am to 7:30 pm
Contact Number: +6567059410
Website
If you’re exploring Bedok Reservoir Park, you might as well stop by HomeTeamNS and splash in its water park, Aqua Adventure.
One of the main attractions here is the BlackHole Aqua Tube. It’s the longest indoor water slide in Singapore, and you’ll truly feel like you’ve spent an eternity going down it.
Another great water slide is the Double Trouble Aqua Tube. This is especially great if you have a companion with you because this slide lets two people go down the slide together. It’s so exhilarating!
If you just want a chill time, you can head to the Laze Pool instead and casually swim around.
Pro Tips: To avoid disappointment, I recommend booking your session ahead of time. Keep in mind that two-piece bikinis and any clothes with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, or metal ornamentation are not allowed here.
Splash at Kidz Amaze
Address: 9 Sentul Cres, Level 3 SAFRA Punggol
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday—1 to 7 pm
- Saturday and Sunday—10 am to 9 pm
Contact Number: +6565858710
Website
Kidz Amaze is a popular indoor playground with a water playground called Splash! Boasting over 23,000 square feet of space, Splash has five slides and eight play decks. The slides and play decks are connected with several climbing structures, so playing here is almost like an intense workout session.
If you’re bringing your toddler, there’s a separate wading area for them. So, you don’t have to worry about them missing out on the fun.
Pro Tip: Splash doesn’t provide towels and swimming attire. Also, keep in mind that the permitted attire is swimwear and/or 100% polyester tops and bottoms.
Singapore Wake Park
Address: 1206A ECP, East Coast Park
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday—10 am to 8 pm
Contact Number: +6566364266
Website
Singapore Wake Park is another water park with a unique concept. Instead of having water slides and rides, this one is focused on cable skiing (riding a board while being pulled by a cable system) in a lagoon at East Coast Park.
I know cable skiing sounds scary, but it’s actually not bad. Even newbies as young as six can pick up this skill without any problem. Once you know the basics, you can feel the thrill as you glide through the water and have the wind whip against your face!
If you feel like you can take on a challenge, why not try the obstacle course? I’ve personally never tried it, but I’ve watched my friends do it, and it looks so exciting!
Pro Tips: Planning a unique birthday party or special event? You can book Singapore Wake Park as a venue! The fee already includes basic training, so you don’t have to worry if you’ve never done cable skiing before. If you’re hungry, the park has Coastal Rhythm, a cafe and bar that offers delicious seafood dishes.
Splash N Surf at Kallang Wave Mall
From: lynn_yew
Address: 1 Stadium Pl, Level 3 Kallang Wave Mall
Operating Hours: Wednesday to Monday—9 am to 8 pm
Contact Number: +6566538900
Website
Located within the Singapore Sports Hub, Splash N Surf is an outdoor water park that boasts gorgeous views of the city center’s skyline. It also has fun play elements that both adults and children will love!
I personally love the lazy river because I get to ride on my floatie and let the current sweep me up. There’s also Stingray, a feature that lets you simulate surfing! Even though it’s not real, the experience is still fun!
For your little ones, there’s a water playground dedicated to them. This is a great place to interact with their fellow children and make new friends!
Pro Tip: If you want to try Stingray, you need to book your spot beforehand. To do so, you need to fill up this form and submit it to the Splash N Surf Information Center.
Waterworks at Science Centre Singapore
Address: 15 Science Centre Rd
Operating Hours: Tuesday to Sunday—10 am to 5 pm
Contact Number: +6564252500
Website
Science Centre Singapore (SCS) is another famous landmark in the city center, and one of the permanent exhibits there is actually a kid’s water park called Waterworks. Access to this park is already included in your SCS ticket.
The Water Maze is the main highlight. As the name suggests, you have to navigate through a maze of water jets. My little nephews and nieces love to play a game of navigating the maze without getting wet. Whoever is the driest wins.
Another feature of this park is the Water Clock Tower. It’s a magnificent structure painted in bold colors, but it’s also equipped with an anemometer, windsock, and rain gauge. This is perfect for children to learn more about these instruments.
Pro Tip: I recommend checking the weather first before coming here. The park closes in bad weather (thunderstorms and heavy rain).
Far East Organization Children’s Garden
From: agebrian
Address: 18 Marina Gardens Dr, Gardens By the Bay
Operating Hours: Thursday to Sunday—9 am to 7 pm
Contact Number: +6564206848
Website
Gardens by the Bay is one of Singapore’s most iconic destinations, and it’s best known for its gorgeous, otherworldly gardens. But there’s also a water park here named Far East Organization Children’s Garden, and the best part is that it’s actually free!
This water park features several water fountains scattered about, so your little ones won’t be able to leave unscathed. There’s also a separate Toddler Play Zone where children between the ages of 1 and 5 can hone their motor skills in a fun way.
Another highlight of this attraction is an array of rainforest tree houses. These houses are connected via a maze of ropes, ladders, and slippery dips, so your children can make their jungle adventure dreams come true!
Pro Tips: This attraction is only for children aged 12 years old and below, but you can get in if you’re with a child. Sometimes, they hold events at the amphitheater. These are usually educational and held by schools, but you’re free to watch if you want. Check the website for more information.
Splash and Slide at Happy Park
Address: 83 Punggol Central, Waterway Point
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday—10 am to 8 pm
A free playground is often found in shopping malls here, so it’s not a surprise that Waterway Point, one of Punggol’s beloved malls, has one called Happy Park. What’s more is that this playground has a water play feature: Splash and Slide!
This water park is located on the rooftop, so you’ll be able to enjoy the stunning view of the neighborhood while you play with your children. Plus, there are many cool features like the tree-like structures with water spilling out of them.
These structures also have water slides, which my nieces and nephews love going down.
Additionally, this park has a hammock, a climbing rope structure, and a balancing bridge. Your children will undoubtedly have the time of their lives here!
Pro Tip:There are benches around the playground if you’re feeling tired.
Oasis Waterpark at Nee Soon East
From: sassymamasg
Address: Behind Yishun North NPC and beside the multi-story car park at Blk 307
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday—9 am to 7:30 pm
Contact Number: +6562572722
Another great water park that you and your children might love is the Oasis Waterpark. It’s located up north in Yishun—far from the city—but if you’re in the area, you should try to check it out.
This community park has different play zones for children. One that my nieces and nephews love is the area with orange pipes that spew mist-like droplets. They also love the area with water jets on the ground. They try to run before the jets spew water!
When the adrenaline is wearing off, they end up wading in the shallow pool and tinkering with the different contraptions and gadgets there. Or they head to the pirate ship-themed slide and pretend to be pirates sailing the seven seas.
Pro Tip: If you’re tired of standing and watching over your children, you can take a seat on any of the benches around the perimeter.
