Jal Yoga is among the more popular yoga studios in Singapore that offer a wide range of yoga classes in beginner to advanced levels. It’s a pretty well-rounded studio with expert teachers and a variety of supplementary wellness classes to try.
If you’re a beginner, you can choose among Jal Yoga’s class sizes and packages ranging from a group class of 10 to 25 or private lessons and personal training.
It’s impressive that a studio with a huge following continues to accommodate as many beginner students with innovative yoga classes each day.
That said, getting in touch with the concierge could be tricky due to the high influx of bookings. The studio tends to get fully booked quickly, so a heads-up of at least two days in advance is ideal here.

Cons

Yogabar Studio offers a welcoming environment for both beginners and seasoned practitioners, making it an ideal place to explore yoga at your own pace. The studio’s serene setting immediately fosters a sense of calm, focus, and mindfulness, intentionally designed to slow students down so they can move with awareness and precision.
Their instructors, including Dwi, Chow, and Miao, bring extensive experience and a deep understanding of yoga philosophy. Led by founder Dwi Siswianti, a teacher with nearly two decades of experience, they provide personalised guidance that supports each student’s wellness goals and yoga journey. The teaching approach emphasizes structured, progressive learning and mindful movement rather than trend-based classes.
Classes at Yogabar cover a variety of styles, including Power Vinyasa, Vinyasa 2, Hatha 2, Restorative, and Yin Yoga, accommodating different skill levels and preferences. The diversity of offerings allows practitioners to focus on building strength, improving alignment and mobility, relieving stress, or cultivating inner tranquillity. For those seeking a more tailored experience, Yogabar’s private one-on-one yoga sessions provide individualized guidance, supporting long-term progress safely and effectively.
The studio keeps class sizes intentionally small, ensuring students receive attentive instruction and a more intimate, supportive experience. Every detail of the studio, from natural lighting to open space design, is curated to promote focus, precision, and a deeper connection with one’s body. This approach fosters a strong sense of community and meaningful connections among participants.
Yogabar emphasizes not just physical practice but also the mental and spiritual aspects of yoga. The environment encourages mindfulness, self-discovery, and personal growth beyond the mat. Their philosophy centers on building a consistent, sustainable practice that enhances long-term wellbeing, making it more than just a fitness routine; it’s a lifestyle of wellness and self-awareness.
Membership at Yogabar includes access to a nurturing community where every individual’s journey is respected and celebrated. This makes it a space where students feel supported and inspired throughout their practice.
For those looking to deepen their yoga practice or simply unwind after a busy day, Yogabar provides a balanced blend of expert instruction, a thoughtfully designed space, and a supportive community. Ojas Yoga and Wellness, founded by Archana Amlapure, stands out for its structured yet holistic approach to yoga that balances traditional practices with modern restorative techniques. From what I’ve seen, their sessions are thoughtfully designed to support both physical vitality and mental clarity, making them suitable for practitioners at different stages of their wellness journey.
One thing that consistently draws positive feedback from clients is the inclusive and welcoming atmosphere the studio provides. The environment feels non-judgmental and supportive of different body types and age groups, and the relatively small class sizes allow instructors to offer more personalized guidance, which can make a noticeable difference in comfort and progress.
I also appreciate how their curriculum goes beyond basic yoga poses by incorporating breathwork, meditation, and mindful movement into each session. This well-rounded approach helps support long-term mobility and stress management rather than focusing solely on short-term fitness goals, which many clients find beneficial for maintaining overall well-being.
Another highlight is the range of wellness experiences available, particularly at their flagship location in OUE Downtown Gallery. Features such as meditation pods provide professionals with a dedicated space to rest and recharge during busy workdays, while their sound bowl healing sessions are often praised for creating a deeply relaxing atmosphere that encourages mental reset and emotional balance.
The studio also appears to be quite active in the corporate wellness space, offering customized programs like chair yoga and stress management workshops for both in-office and remote teams. This flexibility makes their services relevant not only for individuals but also for organizations looking to support employee wellness in a practical way.
Accessibility is another strength, as Ojas Yoga and Wellness operates multiple studio locations across Singapore, including their larger urban-style studio in the Central Business District, a calmer retreat-style space in Joo Chiat, and a cozy community-focused studio along Serangoon Road. Overall, the combination of experienced instructors, diverse wellness offerings, and thoughtfully designed spaces positions Ojas as a reliable choice for individuals seeking a balanced and supportive yoga experience.
Pros
- Welcoming and inclusive for all skill levels
- Highly knowledgeable and supportive instructors
- Holistic classes combining yoga, breathwork, and meditation
- Promotes flexibility, strength, and overall well-being
Cons
- Peak hours may be crowded

When it comes to trying out yoga classes, we want to consider how experienced the studio is in accommodating beginners. At Lab Studios, the skilled instructors are no strangers to students testing out yoga for the very first time.
In addition, the studio offers online yoga classes to accommodate students who can’t physically make it to the studio.
But if you want an in-person session, several branches across the country are conveniently located near train or bus stations and notable landmarks. Getting to each studio is easy, which is a huge plus!
Unfortunately, not all yoga packages are offered in all branches. Some classes are exclusive to specific locations, which could be troublesome in the long run.
There are relatively shorter hours too, but the class schedules remain consistent, which is helpful.
Pros
- Offers online yoga classes
- Convenient location
- Consistent class schedules
Cons
- Relatively shorter hours
- Some packages are only available in select studios

Yoga Movement is a yoga studio that offers its students with opportunities to learn, connect, and strengthen their bodies through well-structured classes. You can get free classes once you sign up for their packages!
While it’s a steal, be sure you can commit to using the package before purchasing one. We would have preferred that they offer free trials instead of free classes tied to packages.
On a more positive note, all types of yoga packages are offered across Yoga Movement’s eight branches in Singapore. You won’t have to worry about missing out on a class if you move residences; you can find a new branch near you.
Just note the studio’s cancellation policy requires you to notify them of your absence at least six hours in advance. It sounds a bit early, especially for anyone with tight schedules and who wants to avoid extra charges as much as possible.

- Opportunities to get free classes
- All packages are offered across all locations
Cons
- Free classes are perks instead of trials

The demand for hot yoga is growing due to its benefits on the body. Real Yoga’s hot yoga classes are a few of the most in-demand in Singapore, and we highly recommend paying them a visit.
First, the instructors and staff members are very friendly and helpful. They don’t hard sell and are patient in answering questions or concerns regarding hot yoga classes.
Not to mention, the instructors alone are highly trained in threshing hot yoga, and both beginners and advanced students are welcome to join any of their classes.
That is if you can get a class by your desired time. Unfortunately, slots are often fully booked, and since the yoga rooms are relatively small, a full house leads to cramped spaces.
However, if you book a class, you’ll immediately notice why many locals choose Real Yoga as their go-to studio. We definitely recommend booking a class here soon!
Pros
- Notable for its customer service
- Highly experienced yoga instructors
Cons
- Usually fully booked

Yoga Mala’s aerial yoga classes run for ten days and is valid for six months, which we think is a good amount of time to manage with your daily activities. Even better, the studio allows students to share the classes with prior notice.
Located at Boat Quay, the studio’s central location makes it highly accessible between several of Singapore’s business districts. In case you think you’re running late, it’s fairly easy to grab a taxi, bus, or train to get to the studio on time!
We did notice, however, that due to the high influx of students, some class reservations get cancelled at the very last minute. The policy only allows refunds if another student fills up your cancelled slot.
This could be very troublesome for many students who are running from work or school. While we think Yoga Mala’s booking system needs improvement, the pros of doing aerial classes here are still worth a try.
Pros
- Comprehensive class outlines
- Accessible location
Cons
- Last minute cancellations
- Cancellation policy could improve

If you’re worried about getting to your nearest yoga studio, Platinum Yoga offers class schedules across its multiple branches in Singapore.
You get to choose what type of membership to avail of, whether online or in-studio. Sadly, both class types can’t be purchased in one package, so if you want to enjoy the best of both online and in-studio classes at the same price, this yoga studio isn’t for you.
Class schedules are optimised to fit into an average student’s daily schedule. Between work or school, Platinum Yoga may have a class lined up for grabs!
That said, many students tend to book the same hours, leading to crowded sessions. However, you can still utilise other branches in case you find a particular class more enjoyable and more convenient.
Pros
- Several branches across Singapore
- Class schedules are optimised
Cons
- Classes are usually crowded
- Online and in–studio memberships are separate
