The Best Portable Blenders in Singapore That Make Staying Healthy Easier
I confess to being one of those Singaporeans who enjoy smoothies and shakes for breakfast. While the rest of my daily diet is admittedly rich and calorie-laden, my trusty blender sees to it that I at least have one fresh and healthy meal a day.
However, it’s gotten too bulky for me since it’s roughly food processor-sized. So in my hunt for the best portable blender in Singapore, I came up with this thorough review which I’d like to share with you today.
How much are portable blenders in Singapore?
Portable blenders in Singapore typically range from S$35 to S$150, depending on the features. Lower-priced models are available for around S$35, while more advanced options with powerful motors and additional features (cordless design, nutrient extraction, etc.) can cost up to S$150.
How We Chose
1. Ninja Blast
Address: 101 Thomson Road, #27-01-03, United Square (Google Maps)
Contact details: [email protected]
Price: S$99
If it’s smoothies or shakes on-the-go you’re after, consider the Ninja Blast. It’s a battery-powered personal blender with a resealable lid and a carrying handle—the very definition of portable.
I found that it can handle smoothie ingredients like spinach and strawberries well, though they have to be introduced in smaller batches compared to blenders with bigger capacities. Still, it produces a drink that’s perfect to down during a stroll or jog.
It can also crush ice, which is a plus for hot Singapore days. However, I’m not a fan of the motor base being permanently attached to the blender even if it’s lightweight, as I’d prefer it to have the bottom like a proper glass.
Pros
- Extremely portable and light
- Can crush ice
- Free shipping for orders above S$100
Cons
- A bit difficult to clean
- Can only handle small batches of ingredients
- The motor base remains attached even while drinking
2. NutriBullet 600W
Address: 1 Kaki Bukit Rd 2, # 03-07 (Google Maps)
Contact details: +65 6743 3636, [email protected]
Price: S$199
After months of testing it in my kitchen, I can say the NutriBullet 600 makes a killer smoothie and great dips too. However, it’s not the best for crushing ice or using hot ingredients for soups.
The blender includes a sealable lid, perfect for taking my smoothie on the go or saving it for later. It also comes with a smaller 18 oz cup with a handle and a recipe sheet to get me started on dips and beverages, which is pretty considerate.
It does blend on just one speed, though I’ve found most fibrous fruits and veggies can be blended in it in under a minute for thorough nutrition extraction. Still, if you can’t be bothered to spend around 60 seconds preparing your smoothie or dip, this model might not be for you.
Pros
- Nutrition extraction feature
- Comes with a to-go cup
- 1-year warranty
Cons
- Only comes with one speed
- Can’t really be used for crushing ice or hot ingredients
- Pricier than other models
3. Aura Portable Blender
Contact details: [email protected]
Price: S$69.50 (on sale)
I love that I can turn the Aura Portable Blender into a water bottle by switching the base, letting me blend anytime, anywhere. The bottle is made of borosilicate glass, which is great for both warm and cold drinks.
It’s wireless and USB rechargeable, so I can charge it on the go using any USB port, including my computer or power bank. (I give you three guesses as to what portable blender I have on my desk at work.)
At any rate, this is a really good portable blender, especially since you can put ingredients for either hot or cold beverages in it. But being the extra person I am, I do wish it came in colours other than regulation white!
Pros
- 1-year warranty and 30-day money-back guarantee
- The base can be switched to serve as a drinking bottle
- Reasonable price
- Can blend both warm and cold beverages
Cons
- Doesn’t come in different colours
4. SMEG Personal Blender
Address: 5 Straits View, The Heart, Marina One Show Gallery (Google Maps)
Contact details: +6569500900, [email protected]
Price: S$218
I love SMEG appliances’ 50s kitchen aesthetic with their rounded edges and vibrant colours, but for my health journey, its portable blender needs to deliver more than just looks.
First, the raves: it comes in several glossy colours with two 20-oz jars and drinking lids for smoothies. Plus, it’s one of the few personal blenders with multiple speed settings.
But while it’s great at single-serve drinks like smoothies, I found it lacking in the fibrous ingredients blending and ice-crushing departments. It can’t blend hot ingredients either, as they need to cool first otherwise they won’t be completely smooth.
Pros
- Multiple speed settings
- Comes in several attractive colours
- Includes a couple of 20-oz jars
- Dishwasher-safe parts
Cons
- Not readily in stock
- Can’t blend hot ingredients
- Expensive

A well-built smoothie maker

5. The Beast Mini Blender
Contact details: [email protected]
Price: S$162
Despite its intimidating name, the Beast Mini Blender is a sleek, stylish compact blender available in three colours: Carbon Black, Pebble Grey, and Cloud White. It’s trendy, has an interesting shape, and has been a sort of conversation starter in the kitchen.
It also comes with a drinking lid, straws, and a straw cap, making it easy to take anywhere. After twisting on the drinking cap and inserting the reusable straw, I have the perfect on-the-go drink!
That said, it’s perfect for single-serve portions and meal prep for one. It’s a bit on the pricier side, though, which makes me glad it comes packed with lots of bang for my buck and looks like a modern sculpture on my kitchen counter.
Pros
- The slim build takes up very little counter space
- Has a pulse mode for chopping ingredients
- Comes with handy accessories for a to-go drink
Cons
- Not easily available in Singapore
- Complaints about inside ridges being difficult to clean
- Expensive
