Train your healing touch at the best massage schools in Singapore!
Getting into massage therapy isn’t easy. You can’t just knead a client or open a spa without proper training, licenses, or certification.
And no, a few online videos won’t cut it. They simply can’t replace the structured education provided by practical massage schools run by masters of body mechanics.
The fees aren’t pocket change, either, so you want to be sure the place you choose gives something back in skill and future earning potential. Fortunately, the Singapore massage schools we featured here consistently deliver on that front.
By the way, if you need some inspiration and want to see pros in action, you can check out these top chiropractors in the area.
How much does a massage therapy course cost in Singapore?
In Singapore, the cost of massage therapy courses varies per training centre and duration. Some charge S$918 for a 42-hour crash course while others demand S$9,000 for an 8.5-month program.
Centre and length aside, the final price is significantly shaped by the course type. Specialised or accredited courses are often more expensive.
1. ProTherapist Academy Pte Ltd

Address: 17 Phillip Street #03-00 Grand Building
Contact Details: +65 9479 0301
Operating Hours: Mon to Fri – 9 am to 6 pm
You’ll walk away with internationally recognised cred at ProTherapist Academy (PTA). Beyond their in-house diplomas, the school hands out ITEC certificates to students who complete a course.
Their faculty has decades of real-world experience. Sam Wai Pun, for instance, is a WSQ-certified trainer with a career exceeding 18 years; the rest aren’t far behind or even further ahead in years or diploma count.
The other shiok part is the school’s focus on structured and short courses. Programmes that can be taken in 9–21 hours are offered.
And the selection isn’t tied to one style. Infant, postnatal, sports, Swedish, and MLD are just some of the massages you can master here.
Most classes follow a 10:1 ratio, though, so make sure you call them ahead or kiss that seat goodbye.
It’d also be cool if towels were included in the course fees. Students have to buy them.
All the massage techniques were taught to us in a very professional manner
It was indeed a great learning experience at ProTherapist Academy (PTA). I just finished my Swedish massage course. All the massage techniques were taught to us in a very professional manner. For both theory and practice, guidance was provided at every level of learning. The trainer Ms. Cynthia has great knowledge and passion towards teaching. I surely recommend to get your massage course from PTA.

Good Trainers
I have attended Post Natal, Lymphatic and Hand and Foot Reflexology massage in 2023 at ProTherapist Academy. Both trainers , Wati and Kelly have made the course easy to understand and enjoyable. They shared a lot of their experiences and I gained a lot of knowledge during my course. I strongly recommend the school as they have good trainers with years of experience.

2. International Sports Academy (ISA)

Address: 223 Mountbatten Rd, #03-18
Contact Details: +65 6423 0668
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Fri – 9 am to 6 pm
- Sat – 9 am to 12 pm
The “international” in International Sports Academy (ISA) isn’t just for branding. If you need paperwork that travels and skills to match, they’re a safe bet, and that has been the case since 2003.
Choosing them for a local career isn’t a bad call, to be clear. Among their partners are national brands and sports associations such as Anytime Fitness, NSCA Singapore, and Active SG.
Students juggling studies and work (or life in general) have the option to go for a hybrid setup too. Theoretical components are studied remotely, with hands-on practice given where it matters.
Too bad ISA’s massage course selection isn’t as lengthy as those of others. Folks seeking a career outside sports massage therapy may find that limiting.
Some upgrades would also be appreciated. Not to nitpick, but old massage tables aren’t ideal for practice.
The 1-on-1 consults before and during courses should stay, though.
Inspiring and Personable
Black Jacq’s Intro to Kettlebell Class was amazing… I thoroughly enjoyed her full day class complete with theory, notes, quizzes and her practical lessons were both tough yet fun !!! Jacquelynne was witty, inspiring and so personable which made kettlebell learning easy💪😅 … It’s a 5-star recommendation from me!

Exceeded My Expectations
Attending the ISA Pregnant and Postpartum Exercise Specialist Course was an incredibly valuable experience. The content was comprehensive, practical, and deeply relevant for anyone working with mothers during and after pregnancy. I walked away with a wealth of knowledge that I can immediately apply to my coaching and training practice.
The trainer Andrew, was outstanding his expertise and ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, approachable way made the learning process engaging and effective. He not only shared evidence-based strategies but also provided real-world examples that helped bridge theory with practice.
Overall, this course exceeded my expectations. It has strengthened my confidence in supporting pregnant and postpartum clients safely and effectively, and I would highly recommend it to other professionals looking to expand their skills in this area.

3. Beauty Forever Learning Hub Pte Ltd

Address: 149 Rochor Rd, #05-03 Fu Lu Shou Complex
Contact Details: +65 6336 0901
Operating Hours: Daily – 9 am to 6:30 pm
Locally and internationally respected certifications make Beauty Forever Learning Hub a reliable school for rookies and vets alike. Their massage programmes are under CIDESCO, ITEC, and WSQ frameworks.
Calling their courses “more financially accessible” for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents isn’t a stretch. The availability of funding schemes like SkillsFuture makes that happen.
What’s more, Beauty Forever’s training rooms resemble real spa and therapy settings. That’s zai since it prepares students for actual work conditions and tools.
Just be aware that certificate processing may take its sweet time. One graduate had to wait for 6 months, you know.
The courses being taught in English haven’t pleased everyone either. From interviews, some trainers struggle a bit with the language.
On the upside, the graduates we messaged had no gripes with the school’s teaching style. Most described it as “fun and engaging,” apart from being effective.
Very Helpful and Supportive
My teacher, Roy, who teaches Holistic Massage, has been very helpful and supportive throughout my learning journey. Studying at Beauty Forever Learning Hub Singapore has been such a wonderful experience — everyone there is so kind and friendly, including the other students of Teacher Roy.
Alhamdulillah, I have successfully completed my ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage with Teacher Roy. I highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in learning holistic massage.

4. Soha Institute

Address: 1 N Bridge Rd, #03-11 High Street Centre
Contact Details: +65 8075 6331
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Fri – 2 pm to 7:30 pm
- Sat to Sun – 10 am to 5:30 pm
SOHA Institute is our most flexible pick, format-wise. Students can learn through classroom-based training, workshops, masterclasses, online self-paced courses, and hybrid setups.
A similar point can be made for their course selection, as training for sports, meridian, holistic, Swedish, and geriatric massages can be availed. You can even broaden your skillset by taking complementary ITEC courses in diet and nutrition (hybrid setup).
Availability is where things become complicated. Not every course runs consistently, so it’s wise to check the website to see what’s on.
Occasional appointment delays have also been noted in the past.
At least we didn’t hear any major complaints about the actual programme. Graduates often describe SOHA’s training as practical and structured.
Mr Khoo, the main instructor, is also rated well for his patience in answering questions and for his ability to explain hard-to-grasp topics. A bonus point is that he’s fluent in both Mandarin and English!
The training is very well-balanced
Soha Institute offers extensive courses on topics related to Traditional Chinese Medecine and well-being. It is very well organized, flexible to special requests and Mrs. Kim is very reactive to any question. Professor Khoo is very knowledgeable and very pedagogic. The explanations are very clear and the training is a very well-balanced combination of theory and practice, making the training a ready to use one.
I personally took Tui Na massage and hand reflexology massage trainings and enjoyed both very much.
I strongly recommend Soha Institute to enhance your knowledge on topics related to MTC and well-being.

Teaching Style is Clear
My initial thought before joining SOHA’s Holistic Massage was to just use the Skill-future. But it was a wise choice to have chosen this particular course. Credit must be given to the instructor and admin.
“Mr Khoo is an excellent instructor in holistic massage therapy. His teaching style is clear, engaging, and grounded in real-life examples, which made learning easy and meaningful. The way he explained concepts sparked my genuine interest in holistic massage. I truly appreciate his knowledge, patience, and dedication to teaching.”

5. Kenko Academy

Address: 6 Raffles Blvd, #03-130 Marina Square
Contact Details: +65 8691 9988
Operating Hours: Daily – 9 am to 6:30 pm
It’s safe to call Kenko Academy “tried-and-true.” The school opened in 2007, but it employs the Kenko Wellness system, which has been around since 1991.
When it comes to certificates, learners can obtain both local and global ones, often through part-time or full-time courses. A programme can span 3–6 months, sometimes more.
Admittedly, the setup does come with a trade-off in terms of time and money. The Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage, for one, stretches to 3.91 months and costs S$3,400.
But we’d say it’s a worthy investment. After all, the courses are quite holistic, covering theory and practical applications, including topics about pre/post-treatment activities, consult techniques, and even advertising.
Kenko Academy’s SkillsFuture and UTAP eligibility also mean the fees can be reduced.
Additionally, language hurdles rarely disrupt learning; courses are delivered in English and Mandarin.
The unfortunate part is that they don’t offer job placement assistance/internships yet.
