We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Say yes guilt-free with the best lab-grown diamond engagement rings in Singapore!

✔ Certification and transparency - The diamonds should come with certification like IGI or GIA, along with clear grading reports for cut, colour, clarity, and carat.

✔ Customisation options - A good seller should offer flexible design services, from setting styles to band materials, so you can personalise the ring to your taste.

✔ Fair pricing and warranty - Prices should be competitive and include warranties or upgrade policies.

✔ After-sales service - I looked for physical showrooms (if possible), solid customer reviews, and services like free resizing, polishing, or trade-in options later on.

After tagging along on more “will you marry me?” missions than I can count, I reckon I’ve seen every kind of diamond sparkle under the sun. I’ve done the rounds of ring canvassing with many clueless pals and panicked last-minute shoppers in my life.

When it’s finally my turn, you can bet I’m going for lab-grown: it’s stunning, ethical, and seriously value-for-money. Here’s where I’d actually shop for the best lab–grown engagement rings in Singapore for my girl.

How much do lab-grown engagement rings cost in Singapore?

Lab-grown diamond engagement ring prices can vary based on factors like carat weight, cut, clarity, and design. However, the prices are significantly lower (50% to 70% cheaper) than those of natural diamonds.

1 carat can go for around S$4,000 to S$5,000, depending on the retailer and specifications. A 2-carat lab-grown diamond can cost up to S$6,600, again, depending on things like setting and design variations.

Hours:

  • Saturday to Sunday, 11 AM–5 PM

Les Precieux was at the top of my list when I went canvassing for the ideal lab-grown diamond ring. I immediately liked its strong focus on certified stones, so each diamond the staff showed me came with full GIA certification.

Its customisation service is also excellent, as a newly-engaged friend shared. There are plenty of band designs, prong settings, and even tiny details like hidden halos to choose from.

I liked that they’re willing to work closely with me to match both my budget and design ideas, minus the hard-selling. Price-wise, the shop is on the steep side compared to some online-first shops, but the in-person service makes up for it.

Plus, they offer resizing, polishing, and a lifetime warranty, which not all sellers do. The only downside I could see is the limited ready-made stock if you’re in a rush to buy a ring immediately.

Pros

  • Certified diamonds
  • Customisation options
  • Lifetime warranty
  • Complimentary services

Cons

  • A bit pricey
  • Limited ready-made inventory

Understood my requirements and budget for an engagement ring

Janice had been very helpful since day one, understanding my requirements and budget for an engagement ring, and making very good recommendations. LP carries a variety of nice rings and gems. I was spoilt for choice initially, but ultimately I was able to choose the right one for my partner. A very pretty sapphire. She was very happy with the ring upon my proposal, too. Follow-up for ring resizing was also a breeze for us. Thank you very much. Highly recommended.

Gave us great advice on what type of bands and designs would suit us

Custom made our engagement ring and wedding bands here. Janice is extremely knowledgeable and was wonderful and patient throughout the process. She gave us great advice on what type of bands and designs would suit us. Would definitely come here again.

Hours: Daily, 11 AM–8.30 PM

I was drawn to LeCaine Gems when I was at Millenia Walk earlier this year because I remembered the shop being known for using conflict-free diamonds and sustainable materials. Those two qualities rank high on my engagement ring checklist.

Also, my sister’s fiancé brought her along to design her ring at LeCaine, which wasn’t the classic surprise proposal but felt way more thoughtful. The staff patiently walked them through every detail of the diamond and setting, too.

Extensive customisation can be done here to every aspect of the ring, so they’re one-of-a-kind for each bride-to-be. Moreover, the shop provides complimentary services like lifetime cleaning, which adds value to its offerings.

However, it’s worth noting that the customisation process can take up to two weeks, which might not suit those with tight timelines. Also, while prices are competitive, they may still be slightly higher than some online-only retailers.

Pros

  • Complimentary resizing and lifetime cleaning
  • IGI-certified diamonds
  • Wide customisation services

Cons

  • Longer customisation timeline
  • Limited ready-made inventory

Lovely customer service

During the process of deciding which engagement ring to choose, the staff was very friendly and experienced, sharing their knowledge about the gems and materials. I felt assured and comfortable. Lovely customer service. I will get a wedding band from Le Caine. Late feedback from me, but it’s worth giving a 5.

The craftsmanship is unmatched

As a long-term customer of LeCaine, I can attest to their commitment to delivering exceptional jewellery and service. The craftsmanship is unmatched, and Ashley’s personalised approach and dedication to customer satisfaction distinguish them from others. Recently, I had a custom ring made for my wife based on a rough sketch I provided. The end result far surpassed my expectations. LeCaine remains my preferred choice, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to others.

I proudly admit to bringing my mum along to Diamond Ateliers, as she insists the shop carries some of the best engagement rings in Singapore, and it’s where I should get a “traditional” one.

She was initially sceptical about lab-grown diamonds, but the consultant, Don, patiently explained to her their benefits and differences. Her concerns were eased with the clear, detailed information, and she’s considering getting a ring for herself!

There’s a wide range of customisation services at this shop, with diamonds, settings, and designs on the selection menu. Every single detail can be meticulously considered for the discerning client.

The showroom is more modest compared to larger jewellery retailers, but I appreciate the personalised service and craftsmanship at this place. However, I understand that “on-the-spot jewellery browsers” might be a tad disappointed at its limited size.

Pros

  • Free customisations
  • Expert guidance
  • Exceptional customisation

Cons

  • Smaller showroom size
  • Appointment required

We couldn’t be happier with the final result

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Diamonds Atelier for creating the most beautiful engagement ring. A special thank you to Ed for his exceptional assistance and friendly service throughout the entire process. He made everything so easy and enjoyable, and we couldn’t be happier with the final result. We are already looking forward to returning next year to have our wedding bands made and are confident that they’ll be just as perfect. Thank you again for making this experience unforgettable!

Diamond Ateliers is unique and exclusive

Diamond Ateliers is unique and exclusive. We met Don, heard his pitch, and truly believe his objective – to cut the middleman cost. This is something he does with much passion and honesty. The process of achieving bespoke rings was seamless too.

4. ORRO

Website
Address: 10 Eunos Rd 8, #01-103

Hours: Daily, 11 AM–10 PM

ORRO is one of the few lab-grown diamond engagement ring shops in Singapore that offers a good range of ready-to-purchase rings (over 10,000 designs!). This makes a lot of my panicked, would-be-engaged pals heave a sigh of relief.

Additionally, the store offers plenty of regular promotions and outlet deals that several of my friends end up buying more than one piece of jewellery. However, while the collection is vast, the sheer number of options can be overwhelming without prior research.

Its commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing is evident, though. All of its lab-grown diamonds are certified and are backed by a lifetime guarantee to underline its quality craftsmanship.

That said, it’s not the most affordable shop for engagement rings if compared to others. But this kind of accessible, eco-friendly luxury doesn’t compromise on quality, so it’s a “yes” for me.

Pros

  • Lifetime guarantee
  • Over 10,000 unique designs
  • Ready-to-purchase options available

Cons

  • Slightly higher pricing
  • Options can be overwhelming

Customer Reviews

Thank you for finding the perfect ring for me

Thank you, Nancy & Joyce, for the great service at ORRO! Thank you for your assistance in finding the perfect ring for me!

The transaction was smooth

Went to SingPost. Joyce was so helpful. Even offered to do my current ring a quick wash. The transaction was smooth. Thank you so much, Joyce!

5. Tree & Bee

A close friend of mine had her ring custom-made at Tree & Bee and shared how the jeweller was incredibly patient and responsive to her, even though she changed her mind multiple times. She was also overseas at the time, but was reassured and cared for.

I like that the shop has over a hundred handcrafted designs that cater to different tastes and style preferences. It carries both natural and lab-grown diamonds, too, which shows the beginnings of ethical sourcing commitment.

The jeweller also explained how each piece in the shop uses traditional metalsmithing techniques, which is refreshing in the current trend of 3d printed jewellery. It places special emphasis on quality craftsmanship.

However, it’s worth noting that its made-to-order pieces typically require a minimum lead time of seven weeks, which might not suit those with tight timelines. Additionally, as a small boutique, its ready-to-ship inventory is limited.

Pros

  • Hundreds of handcrafted design options
  • Can handle overseas clients
  • Accommodating staff

Cons

  • Minimum 7 weeks production time
  • Limited ready-to-ship inventory

Really love the engagement ring that Bryan has made

We really love the engagement ring that Bryan has made for us! The cute cat paw moonstone shines like aurora lights..And we went back to him again for customised wedding bands.

A super fuss-free experience

We got Bryan to customise our wedding rings. As we couldn’t visit his studio during the COVID period, he sent us a ring-sizer for free to make things easier, and also created a 3D rendering to show us what our design will look like. It was a super fuss-free experience, and we love our rings!
