Finding strength is easier with the best occupational therapists in Singapore
It really hurt to see my dad struggle after slipping in the bathroom. He used to be full of energy, always out playing pickleball, and suddenly, even walking around the house was painful.
Even after the injury healed, he wasn’t himself anymore. That’s when I found out about occupational therapy. I brought him to a therapist, and slowly things started to change.
He’s not back on the court yet, but he can finally enjoy walks around the neighbourhood again, which feels like a big step forward.
With that experience, I want to share the best occupational therapists in Singapore—and for those still dealing with pain, a list of top physiotherapists too.
How much do occupational therapists in Singapore charge?
In Singapore, sessions with an occupational therapist at a private clinic usually cost around $195 each, while public hospitals charge closer to $160 per session.
1. Magic Beans

Treatments offered: Fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care routines, social and play skills, and more
Address: 231 Mountbatten Rd, #01-06 Block G Mountbatten Centre
Phone number: +65 8777 3171
Business hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (MON-SAT)
It wasn’t easy helping my dad return to an active lifestyle, but I’m glad Magic Beans supported us through it. The clinic has been around for over a decade, which gave me confidence in their experience.
The free consultation was useful because it explained clearly how they could help. My dad’s therapist, Tabitha Ho, specialises in evidence-based work such as postural care intervention and addressing sensory-motor difficulties.
Her guidance has helped him move better and regain much of the mobility he lost after the incident.
I also liked the teletherapy sessions, especially in the early stages when leaving the house was tough for him.
The only issues are the lack of a proper online booking system, which meant I had to rely on phone calls, and the location being a short walk from Mountbatten MRT station. The walk benefits my dad, but others may see that as inconvenient.
Really happy that we connected with Magic Beans
“Ms Zhi Ying is a really great therapist. My daughter had a great time learning and playing at the same time. She now can speak clearly and her articulation is way much better with only 2 months of sessions. Really happy that we connected with Magic Beans👍👍”

Very grateful to the whole team at Magic Beans
“My son has been attending Magic Beans since 2021 for speech therapy. A friend highly recommended us to try. Gemma has been consistently patient and helpful in my son’s journey. He still looks forward to his weekly sessions and his speech has improved by leaps and bounds. Very grateful to the whole team at Magic Beans.”

2. Ohana Therapy

Treatments offered: Early intervention for infants, gross motor skills, self-regulation, self-care, sensory processing, and more
Address: 545 Orchard Road #14-01 Far East Shopping Centre
Phone number: +65 8155 6575
Business hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (MON-SAT)
Ohana Therapy is quite an accessible option. Their therapists come with backgrounds in both public and private healthcare, and they can conduct sessions in English, Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, Bahasa Indonesia, and Portuguese.
And what’s neat is you don’t have to visit their clinic for your sessions. Sessions can be arranged at home, in school, or online.
As for their treatments, I’m glad that they take a strength-focused approach to occupational therapy. Instead of zeroing in on weaknesses, they highlight what you’re already good at and build from there.
It’s a good thing, too, that they can provide early intervention for infants.
However, it’s important to note that they were founded in 2022, so they don’t have the long track record of older clinics. Everything is also strictly by appointment.
Ohana goes above and beyond in every aspect of their approach
“Ohana goes above and beyond in every aspect of their approach. The child is at the heart of every decision and they work seamlessly across functions and therapists to offer a holistic and fluid approach to the strategy to best support your child’s development. They are an integral part of our child’s support structure and have provided continued and invaluable guidance that draws on years of experience and a breadth of skill sets. We couldn’t be more grateful to have such a measured and dedicated network of support behind our child’s development.”

Really helped my girl improve her core strength and balance
“A warm and cozy therapy spot hidden away in Orchard Road, only a few minutes’ walk from Orchard MRT and if you drive and don’t want to pay the building’s rather expensive parking, there’s the public carpark just next door. My daughter’s occupational therapist was so friendly and professional, explaining each session’s objectives and exercises performed. She really helped my girl improve her core strength and balance. Many thanks for all your help!”

3. Dynamics Therapy Group

Treatments offered: Gross motor skills, school readiness, sensory processing, fine motor skills, social skills, and more
Address: #7th floor Forum The Shopping Mall, 583 Orchard Rd
Phone number: +65 6100 9235
Business hours:
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (MON-FRI)
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (SAT)
If you want therapists with solid credentials, check out Dynamics Therapy Group. Their team includes Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests-certified therapists, which means they’re trained to handle challenges in sensory processing and motor skills.
I like that they’re not confined to the clinic. They can run sessions at home, online, or even in a hybrid format that mixes all three for convenience.
Furthermore, they use the Theratech app so patients can continue exercises outside of therapy hours.
Another thing I find useful is their school support services for occupational therapy. This helps teachers and administrators create a better learning environment for students who need extra support.
Still, there are some downsides. Therapists have been reported to arrive late at times, and the final bill sometimes differs from the initial quote.
We are glad to have chosen Dynamics
“My daughter has been under Ms Genevieve ‘s care for almost a year now and she has shown huge improvement for just a period of time. She’s always excited and happy to go to her therapy. We are so thankful to Ms Gen for the sincere care she has for Lia. We knew from the start that she’s in good hands. Not only that, the admin staff, Ms Lindsay was always so cheerful and friendly. We are glad to have chosen Dynamics.”

Our daughter has blossomed and overcame her fears
“We started OT sessions with Eunice Lim at Dynamics when our daughter was 18 months. At every session, Eunice was always calm, patient and cheerful and brought our girl out of her shell and gave her confidence to try new physical challenges. She also tried numerous ways to engage our daughter through imaginative play and world building. To us parents, she was also comforting and often lent a listening ear and gave sound advice. Thanks to her efforts, our daughter has blossomed and overcame her fears, ready to face the world. A big thank you to Eunice and Dynamics!”

4. KAWA Collective Children’s Therapy and Wellness

Treatments offered: Attention development, emotional regulation, motor skills, sensory processing, and more
Address: 17 Jln Saudara Ku
Phone number: +65 8849 2701
Business hours:
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (MON-FRI)
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (SAT)
KAWA Collective is one of those therapy places that feels more homely than clinical. They focus mainly on occupational therapy for kids, and parents can go straight to them without needing a doctor’s referral.
I found their one-to-one sessions quite tailored, with sensory-friendly spaces that help children who struggle with regulation or transitions. They also run group OT, which is nice for kids to practise social skills in a safe environment.
What caught my eye was their “Growing Together: Mum & Baby Group.” It’s a mix of bonding and learning, where mums get practical insights into early sensory and developmental needs.
Beyond families, they also do corporate workshops and school partnerships, bringing OT strategies into workplaces and classrooms.
The only drawbacks are the higher fees compared to some other centres and the fact that they only accept PayNow or bank transfer.
Made a difference in our lives
“Taking sessions with Vera really helped me to understand more about my baby’s milestones in terms of motor skills, joint mobility, posture, muscle strength. Vera is also skilled to evaluate sensory processing and visual-motor skills of babies. It is always good to know where my baby is at, and what to look out for next, to be able to support his development the best possible way, even with my second child. Vera suggested custom exercises to build muscle strength and coordination, and also demonstrated how to make and use stimulating toys for babies. I felt my baby progressed so well thanks to these sessions, and I also felt at ease not worried anymore about missing out on something. My communication has improved with my baby as well thanks to all the useful tips from Vera. I really love her character presenting solutions in a very soft spoken empathetic way. All the babies were huge fans of her, too.❤️ Hoping to attend more sessions to keep track of my little bub’s progress in a safe space where mums can also discuss any worries, too. I am so thankful to Vera, she made a difference in our lives with her patience, kindness, and expertise.”

Everything feels intentional, clean, and child-/client-friendly
“The space is thoughtfully designed and very well equipped, with a wide variety of equipment that caters to different types of sensory input and therapeutic needs. Everything feels intentional, clean, and child-/client-friendly. The clinic is located in a lovely neighborhood that is serene, calm, and peaceful, which really adds to the overall therapeutic experience. There is also a beautiful wellness corner that can be rented for yoga, pilates, and other mindful practices — the space is truly calming and relaxing, perfect for movement and wellness sessions. Vera, the occupational therapist, is highly experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. She is very ethical in her practice, genuinely client-centred, and takes the time to understand individual needs. Her explanations are clear, her approach is thoughtful, and you can truly feel her passion and integrity in the way she works. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for high-quality occupational therapy and a nurturing, well-designed environment.”

5. Dinosaur Speech Therapy

Treatments offered: Emotional and sensory regulation, movement skills, handwriting, self-care skills, visual-motor and visual-perceptual skills, and more
Address: Blk 52 Chin Swee Rd, #03-25
Phone number: +65 8028 8535
Business hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (MON-SAT)
Dinosaur Speech Therapy is one that caught my eye because it feels like they’re trying to go beyond the usual occupational therapy sessions.
Started by Bernard Tan, the centre takes a more playful yet structured approach, which makes it less intimidating for kids.
Their therapy covers the basics like emotional regulation, self-care skills, and handwriting. I found it practical that they also focus on visual-motor and visual-perceptual skills, since those are key for reading and problem-solving later on.
What I liked most was their Dinosaur School, where therapy is blended into a classroom-style program. It’s a nice touch because kids get used to a school environment while still receiving support.
They also offer free consultations and are Baby Bonus approved, which helps with costs.
However, please note that their occupational therapy is focused entirely on children. Also, they may take up to 24 hours to respond to enquiries.
Has made a huge difference for my child
“After a lot of research, we chose Dinosaurs Speech Therapy and couldn’t be happier. Starting with Speech Therapy, and later adding EIP + OT has made a huge difference for my child. The team is supportive and dedicated—patience and working together truly pay off. Highly recommended!”
