A friend and I went to Mox and Lotus for a pre-release event, and we were blown away by the atmosphere—plenty of charging sockets, endless packs to choose from, and the perfect music setting the vibe. It felt like stepping into a mediaeval, magic-filled world.

The shop has an awesome selection of singles and booster packs. Now I always stop by to grab some cards, and the staff couldn’t be more polite and helpful to nerds like yours truly.

Pro-tip: Limited edition sets and special releases tend to sell out quickly. Keep an eye on their site for early bird deals.

OBO Collectibles is the kind of place where you walk in for “just a look” and leave with your wallet a little lighter—but totally worth it. It also helps that the shop owner is a friendly and chatty sort.

The shop consistently stocks hard-to-find trading cards, especially for Pokémon and MTG. The aircon is perfect too. It made opening those packs I bought a super chill and relaxing experience!

The first time I walked into Flagship Games, I was just looking to “browse,” but let’s be honest—that never happens when you’re surrounded by rare cards and booster packs calling your name.

Before I knew it, I was elbow-deep in a box of special editions, trying to justify buying just one more pack. The store has play mats, sleeves, and an incredible collection of old, rare cards, plus a solid selection of Pokémon cards too!

You can tell the people at Happyland Collectibles are passionate about the card games. I’ll never forget the day I walked into the shop and the friendly lady there helped me hunt down the reverse holos for my 151 master set.

Ended up buying a bunch of singles and guess what? I pulled a Charizard! Ever since that visit, it’s been my go-to spot for all things Pokémon cards.

Pro-tip: Take the MRT to Bugis Station (EW12/DT14), exit towards Bugis Junction, and it’s just a short walk from there to Happyland Collectibles.

CardGaiden

I highly recommend CardGaiden. The owner, Marcus, really prioritises fulfilling pre-orders instead of hiking prices like some scalpers. I was amazed when the shop fulfilled my pre-order of several boxes, even though they’re super hard to find now.

Marcus is friendly and honest, always offering great recommendations. Definitely one of the few shops worth checking out if you’re hunting for rare YGO cards!

Pro-tip: CardGaiden isn’t just for card shopping. It’s a great hangout spot too! Grab a drink, chat with Marcus, and join in on casual YGO games for a chill time with fellow card enthusiasts.

It was my first time visiting the shop for Pokémon TCG, and the owner, Darren, couldn’t have been more welcoming. We ended up chatting about high-grade cards and card valuation. It was really insightful.

The shop is cosy but has everything you need, including tables for playing. The staff also takes preorders for booster boxes, and Darren has a sweet collection of authenticated cards and singles up for grabs. Worth a visit!

Pro-tip: Yu-Gi-Oh! players and collectors take note—this store exclusively sells OCG JP and AE products, but their selection is top-notch.
