When dealing with a stiff back from heavy lifting, you need more than a basic routine to get moving safely again. While many chiropractors focus strictly on skeletal adjustments, Healing Hands Chiropractic Clinic uniquely integrates manual stretch therapy with targeted spinal corrections.

I booked a session here after a grueling workout week, and their dedicated “Stretchologists” used active assisted stretching alongside a fascinating 15-second thermographic scan to build a precise recovery plan just for me. This dual approach tackles tight fascia and joint health simultaneously, unlocking serious mobility restoration.

Unfortunately, scheduling can be a bit tricky, as their heavily discounted off-peak consultation rate strictly applies to weekdays before 6:00 PM. They’re also closed on Fridays and Sundays.

On the bright side, their custom mobile app makes managing appointments effortless, and the deep postural correction is undeniably worth the effort.

Pros

  • Targeted postural correction
  • Enhanced blood circulation
  • High location accessibility
  • Comprehensive initial consultation

Cons

  • Restricted promotional hours
  • Closed on Fridays and Sundays

Have been with Healing Hands for almost a year now and my condition has definitely improved. I’m currently under Dr Marc’s care – he’s always very attentive to my condition and recovery progress. Their recent addition of stretch therapy has also been a great complement to the treatment which helps to loosen tight muscles and improve mobility which enhances the effectiveness of the regular adjustments.

This review has been long over due. For twice, I seek their expertise to work on my serious Neck and feet problem. Prior to that, I had gone through the hospital therapy, acupuncture, etc. You need to stretch that tight muscles, which they are good at. In the end is also about good posturing and how to use your body.

Getting those inaccessible deep tissues to finally release is the main focus at Dr.stretch. They use a proprietary Core Balance Stretch method originally developed for professional baseball players.

The trainers employ a unique two-stage preparation involving shaking and moving to ensure muscles are fully relaxed before the heavy work begins. I recently booked a session to deal with lingering shoulder stiffness, and the completely passive experience meant I just had to focus on breathing while the trainer handled the intense lengthening.

That said, requesting a specific expert trainer requires paying an extra designation fee on top of the base rate. Locking in a weekend slot through their membership program also triggers an additional $20 surcharge, which slightly dampens the value of their discounted rates.

Nevertheless, the complimentary athletic attire and heavy first-timer discounts make jumping into a routine incredibly straightforward.

Pros

  • Heavy first-timer discounts
  • Complimentary athletic attire
  • Reduced membership rates
  • Flexible session durations

Cons

  • Extra fees for specific trainers
  • Weekend membership surcharges
  • Additional holiday booking fees

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Yuri from Great World Dr. Stretch for the incredible stretch therapy session. Her expertise, care, and attention to detail made a profound difference in easing my tension and improving my condition. I’m looking forward to my next session.

I had went for several sessions of stretch as I was having joint pains due to tight muscles. After these sessions, my joint issues have largely resolved and this is allowing me to better play my sports now. Syed, Pratap and Nabila did a great job with me and I am now doing my weekly stretch with them.

Address: YSY Building 139 Cecil Street, #11-01, Singapore 069539

Contact: +65 8264 1989 | [email protected]

Hours: Available by appointment only

If you need a highly personalized stretching program, Oikos Stretch integrates advanced clinical modalities like Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and dry cupping to elevate standard assisted stretching.

Their team features practitioners with specialized clinical backgrounds, incorporating standard physiotherapy practices to safely modify movements for pre-existing injuries. The principal bodyworker even trained directly with Japanese specialists to ensure top-tier athletic recovery.

However, do note that committing to their sessions demands strict adherence to their schedule, as they enforce a rigid 24-hour cancellation policy that triggers penalty fees for late changes.

Clients driving to the clinic also face the hassle of finding alternative parking spaces because the YSY Building provides zero on-site parking options. Fortunately, the studio remains highly accessible for rail commuters, and their discounted trial provides an excellent entry point into structured recovery.

Pros

  • Discounted trial session
  • Highly accessible transit location
  • Inclusive treatment demographic
  • Comprehensive initial assessment

Cons

  • Strict cancellation policy
  • Zero on-site parking available
  • Penalty fees for late changes

Andrew is a highly competent and experienced stretch therapy, he has helped me sort out various issues over the years (neck stiffness, hip tightness, etc) and goes the extra mile by giving exercise advice and education. He is also skilled in cupping therapy which has helped with lower back pain as well! Every session with Andrew is always so pleasant even after a long work day with his friendly demeanour and genuine kindness. Definitely look for Andrew for any pain/stiffness!

I highly recommend Andrew for stretch therapy. I had a bad frozen right shoulder with very restricted mobility. Andrew helped me regain normal use of my right arm and shoulder with regular stretch sessions over a period of about a year. He has good hands, a gentle touch and knows when not to over-do the stretching.

Address: 220 Orchard Road, Midpoint Orchard #02-02, Singapore 238852

Hours: Monday to Saturday: 11:00 AM–9:00 PM | Sunday: 12:00 PM–9:00 PM

Tackling chronic pain requires looking at the skeleton and muscles together, which is why Rebalance Integrated Therapy Studio exclusively offers a proprietary methodology merging fascia stretch therapy with traditional bone-setting.

Developed by founder Andrew Ng, this targeted approach aims to unlock the body’s self-healing capabilities and provide sustainable relief for active adults and seniors alike. The clinic even offers specialized pediatric care to address early spinal misalignments caused by heavy school bags.

Unfortunately, securing a spot can be quite restrictive, since the studio strictly operates on an advance-booking basis and rejects walk-ins for sudden acute pain. The heavy reliance on a single master practitioner also creates scheduling bottlenecks for new clients wanting his specific expertise.

Nevertheless, the central Orchard Road location and extensive seven-day operating hours offer fantastic flexibility for professionals seeking a non-surgical path to optimal spine health.

Pros

  • Pioneering non-surgical alternative
  • Central Orchard Road location
  • Broad demographic suitability
  • Extensive operating hours

Cons

  • Strictly advance bookings only
  • Single practitioner dependency
  • Rejects spontaneous walk-ins

I came across this clinic at facebook so I decided to give it a try with my friend. We went ahead with the treatment and felt better. The structure was much better and I could touch the floor. Felt different after stretching and alignment.

Today’s assessment Mr Andrew was an eye opener. I have been having pain and aches at my neck, shoulders and back for the longest time and I often feel moody and tired too. After today’s assessment, all the discomfort is GONE! I have also realised the importance of stretching, as a sports person myself I often neglect stretching. To prevent injury in the future stretching is a must. Thank you Mr Andrew for the amazing experience! Highly recommended to all.

5. Stretch Flo Somerset

Website: https://stretch-flo.com/

Address: 20 Kramat Ln, #01-02, Singapore 228773

Contact: +65 9873 0084 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM–9:00 PM | Sunday: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM

Stretch Flo Somerset uniquely blends fascia stretch therapy with traditional Thai massage. The founder, an ex-national rhythmic gymnast and American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified trainer, uses science-based stretch protocols identical to those used by professional athletes.

After a colleague recommended their mind-body restoration add-on, I tried a session and found the guided breathing incredibly effective at releasing emotional tension alongside the physical tightness.

I have to warn you, though, that you have to act fast if you purchase their promotional packages, as the one-to-one trial comes with a very rigid seven-day activation window. Their small boutique team of three primary therapists can also severely restrict booking availability during peak evening hours.

Still, the heavily discounted introductory rates and optional premium outcall services make this clinic an excellent choice for dedicated physical maintenance.

Pros

  • Discounted introductory rates
  • Highly accessible central location
  • Comfortable athletic attire provided
  • Premium outcall service available

Cons

  • Short trial activation windows
  • Small boutique therapist team
  • Restricted peak hour availability

I’ve been visiting Stretch Therapy for a couple of years now due to a frozen shoulder (is now healed). Irene, formerly with Dr. Stretch, has been my trainer the whole time. She recently joined Stretch Flo, and the place is excellent – nicely organized and the soothing music creates a very relaxing atmosphere. Most importantly, after each session, I feel my body is much more relaxed and my pains have disappeared.

Meg is 100% expert-level when it comes to stretch therapy. In one session, I felt my body was fixed! Definitely very intense because I stretched (assisted) in places I’ve not stretched ever! Of course, Meg would check in on the pressure suitability before continuing. The deep tissue massage was also a bonus and left me feeling completely relaxed after the session. The space was private, clean and calm, definitely different from other stretch services!
