5 Best Newborn Photographers in Singapore to Capture the Tiny Details

Newborn Safety and Handling: We checked training, safe posing, and baby-led pacing. Tiny models shouldn’t have to sacrifice comfort for the shot.

Package Value and Image Inclusions: We compared edited image counts and extra charges. You shouldn’t need detective skills to work out what’s included.

Studio Comfort and Atmosphere: We assessed temperature control, cleanliness, and lighting. Babies and sleep-deprived parents deserve a comfortable landing spot.

Family Inclusivity: We checked whether parents, siblings, and pets could join, and at what cost. Getting the gang in frame shouldn’t blow the budget.

Booking Flexibility: We reviewed rescheduling policies for early or late arrivals. Newborns don’t check calendars before making their entrance.

Your newborn’s already running the household, and they haven’t even learnt to hold their head up! Between milk shifts and nappy changes, those tiny toes deserve their own spotlight.

Finding the best newborn photography in Singapore shouldn’t become another sleep-deprived project. You’ll want someone who puts your baby’s comfort first and takes feeding breaks in stride.

So we’ve rounded up several options to help you capture the tiny details before they’re suddenly not so tiny. For family photography, you can jump into the frame too—eye bags and all!

Contact: +65 6235 7037 / WhatsApp: +65 8718 5528 / [email protected]

Hours: Monday–Friday: 9 AM–7 PM, Saturday–Sunday: 9 AM–6:30 PM

White Room Studio gives tiny toes a grand backdrop in its sunlit, 1927 Peranakan shophouse. Across two floors, heritage textures and European-inspired settings bring variety without a change of venue.

We love how the team follows the baby’s pace, pausing for feeds, settling and nappy changes. They can even supply wraps, blankets and outfits, so your newborn doesn’t need a suitcase.

The weekday newborn package starts at S$490 for two hours and up to four people or pets. It includes four prints and their matching retouched digital files, letting parents and siblings share the spotlight.

That said, four digital images won’t stretch to a bumper baby album, and extras start at S$75 each. Weekend sessions also add S$100, while staircase-only access means you’ll need to plan around the pram.

Pros

  • Natural-light shophouse with varied backdrops
  • Baby-led pacing with feeding and nappy breaks
  • Wraps, blankets and outfits provided
  • Package covers up to four people or pets
  • Four prints included alongside matching digital files

Cons

  • Only four retouched digital images included
  • Extra digital images start at S$75 each
  • S$100 weekend/public-holiday surcharge
  • Staircase-only access; no lift

“Worked so hard and never once showed any frustration”

We had both our maternity and newborn photos taken here. Photographing a 1.5-year-old toddler, our dog, and a newborn baby requires an incredible amount of patience, but they worked so hard and never once showed any frustration. We truly appreciated their dedication and kindness throughout the session.

We especially loved the balcony shots at the studio, where the beautiful Singapore rain trees appeared in the background—the location was absolutely perfect. …

“Yan was a fantastic photographer”

We were gifted a photoshoot by dear family friends, and we couldn’t have been more blessed. Yan was a fantastic photographer. We had newborn twins, and they were a handful! She did a great job handling them, and the moments she captured were truly special. We appreciate her expertise and time.

We like how Yikeshu’s S$229 newborn package leaves some room in the budget for the nappy mountain. You get five retouched images, plus approximately 30–50 others with colour and exposure corrections.

The session runs up to two hours and includes two styles, each combining a setup and pose. Parents and siblings can join for simple family portraits, so the baby doesn’t hog the entire gallery.

For a more personal keepsake, you can add hand-and-foot castings at an extra cost. If packing everyone out the door feels like an Olympic event, weekday home sessions cost another S$150.

However, weekends add S$50, and each reschedule after the first free change costs S$80.

The standard package also specifies babies up to 30 days old, so arrange your slot during pregnancy.

“Very experienced in coaxing my newborn to sleep”

Superman was our photographer for the session, and he was definitely very experienced in coaxing my newborn to sleep so that he could take the pictures. After the session, my newborn went into crying mode, and he helped to calm and soothe her, and she fell asleep quickly after that. The link for the photos was also sent to us really quickly (by night of the same day), and we are very satisfied with the end product. Will definitely recommend Yikeshu to any friends who require a newborn photoshoot!

“I have nothing but praise for Yikeshu Photography”

I have nothing but praise for Yikeshu Photography! Super warm and welcoming. I have already taken my maternity shoot previously with photographer eagles and now did a newborn shoot with SUPERMAN! He is amazing and patient! The way he cradles the baby gently and make her sleep is amazing. And the shots were done beautifully and amazingly. We had some immediate family shots taken too and 2 theme shots for my precious baby girl. Nothing but praise. Will be back again for family shots! And any other occasions! Highly recommend. Most importantly, value for money !!

“Great at directing us and composing the shots”

… It was a positive experience having our newborn photoshoot at Oh Dear Studio. Upon entering the studio, Melody made the effort to check what kind of shots I was looking for, and she paid attention to capture them. She was great at directing us and composing the shots, and took a wide variety of photos (solo shots with baby, solo shots of baby, whole family shots) with different backgrounds. The Christmas backdrop was a nice touch, and the behind-the-scenes video shared was a pleasant surprise. …

“Booked a newborn photoshoot and had the best experience”

We booked a newborn photoshoot and had the best experience! Hart was wonderful with both my baby and toddler; he was able to calm and soothe the baby into various poses while also entertaining my toddler, making her laugh and capturing her expressions. He even got peed on by my baby but was unfazed. The turnaround time for the images was fast, and Hart is very responsive. The resulting photos were exactly what I was hoping for!

“An expert handling and soothing the baby”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hart shot my eldest as a newborn 12 years ago, and those photos captured the special moments of him as a newborn so well that it was an easy decision to have him shoot my youngest. Hart was calm and funny throughout the shoot and made the entire session feel effortless and comfortable for our family of 5. He is also an expert at handling and soothing the baby. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful, and once again exceeded our expectations. We are really glad we trusted Hart again for this shoot…
