Stay on the move by taking the best joint supplements in Singapore!

Benefits: Through personal experience, feedback, and clinical trials, we narrowed the list to supplements with at least three proven benefits, such as pain relief, improved flexibility, and reduced inflammation.

Ingredients: We made sure the supplements feature evidence-based ingredients beneficial to overall joint health. Think glucosamine and vitamin D3.

Since not everyone in our team is a medical expert, we looked at legitimate studies (especially those from NIH) and blogs written by actual medical professionals.

Credentials: This review doesn’t include non-third-party-tested brands or names that don’t follow GMP standards. Websites and medical reports were used to determine that.

Pricing: Results matter most, but we also ensured the supplements don’t go way beyond Singapore’s normal rates. Unsurprisingly, we gave extra marks to brands that usually have lower prices, discounts, and/or special deals.

Transparency: If there’s a possible drawback or recommended dosage, the label must showcase it. Thus, our team inspected every ingredient and features such as suitability for pregnancy and compatibility with other supplements.

Joint problems are no joke. One minute you’re smashing your regular 10-km jog or cycling up Mount Faber, and then—bam, you can no longer get out of bed without moaning and groaning.

Fortunately, that’s all in the past for me. I linked up with the right orthopaedic specialists, improved some things like my posture, and took the proper dietary aids with data-backed ingredients.

This article focuses on the latter. Our crew did the legwork to scout out Singapore’s best joint supplements, and only brands with proven results made the list.

How much do joint supplements usually cost in Singapore?

In Singapore, expect most joint supplements to cost between S$60 and S$80 per bottle, with the cheapest options typically ranging from S$20 to S$54.

1. Holistic Way (JR Life Sciences Pte Ltd)

Before taking Holistic Way’s supplements, I did some digging and was convinced by their evidence-based ingredients. Particular components that stood out to me were MSM and glucosamine, both backed by the NIH.

Personally, I found them effective, particularly the 90-capsule glucosamine bottle. It’s even vegan- and vegetarian-friendly, with no non-organic fillers or preservatives.

Taking Joint Collagen made it more effective (get medical advice first), as it features vitamin D3 and biocell collagen, which can improve bone health and skin texture, sans the skin specialist visit. This one uses chicken cartilage as its source.

The brand’s awards also helped win me over. You don’t bag accolades like Superbrands Singapore, Singapore Consumers’ Choice, and Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Gold for lousy products.

A small catch is the pricing. Sure, they do provide discounts and special deals, but there are cheaper alternatives.

Also, the weekend closure of their physical store is a hiccup for folks who need supplements ASAP.

Pros

  • The brand has been around since 2007
  • Multi-awarded
  • Scientifically proven ingredients like MSM and glucosamine
  • Has vegan-, vegetarian-, and halal-friendly supplements
  • Has products for kids
  • Wide range
  • Offers discounts and bundles

Cons

  • Mid-range price

2. LAC Nutrition For Life

Operating Hours: Mon to Fri – 9 am to 6 pm

We found out that LAC might be the top choice for those who prioritise variety. Their range consists of over 30 different joint supplements, with ingredients like glucosamine, calcium nitrate, collagen, and turmeric.

In addition, there are choices formulated for kids. Calcium Fit, for instance, is rated well for its benefits to bones and teeth.

Our vegetarians even handed them extra points for featuring lots of plant-based options, such as Joint Protec and Albion.

Halal- and vegan-friendly items aren’t on their shelves yet, though.

A redeeming factor is LAC’s cred. They’ve been operating since 1997 and currently have around 250 stores globally.

As for pricing, we’d say they’re mid-range as well, like Holistic Way. The frequent price cuts and bundle deals (particularly for members) can save you cash, but there are still more budget-friendly brands around.

Pros

  • Over 30 choices
  • Has glucosamine, calcium nitrate, collagen, and turmeric
  • The brand has been open since 1997
  • Has 250 stores across Asian and the Americas
  • Has vegetarian- and kid-friendly options
  • Frequent sales and bundles

Cons

  • Mid-range pricing
  • Lack of halal- and vegan-friendly options

Great Staff

Diana Bacus was such a great nice promotor or seller. She’s so nice and cheerful that made me more wanted to shop at LAC Tanglin Mall again and again. Thanks to have such a great staff around. Cheers to your success in Singapore and whole world. God bless.

3. Cynovial Joint Supplement

cynovial-joint-supplement-logo

Address: 75 High St

Operating Hours: Mon to Fri – 10 am to 7 pm

Website

We can see why most Cynovial takers we talked to are athletes. For starters, orthopaedic specialists helped develop the supplement.

Secondly, it’s packed with traditional herbs clinically shown to reduce inflammation and joint pain. Think ashwagandha, Indian frankincense, ginger, and turmeric.

The supplement’s primary draw, however, is its inclusion of type II collagen. Studies from the NIH and ScienceDirect identify it as an effective pain reliever, especially if we’re talking about arthritic pain.

Just make sure you have the budget for it. It’s one of this list’s priciest options, with a 60-capsule bottle costing S$129 and a twin bundle priced at S$250.

Chicken-sourced ingredients are also used in the product. Unfortunately, that means vegetarians or vegans should look for alternatives.

On the upside, Cynovial is often sold at medical centres, giving it extra cred. We found some at Gleneagles Hospital, Farrer Park Hospital, and Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre.

Pros

  • Co-developed with orthopaedic specialists
  • Sold at hospitals and medical centres
  • Fuses traditional herbs with science
  • Features type II collagen
  • Often used by athletes

Cons

  • Pricey
  • Has chicken-based ingredients

Very Pleased

My parents got their 1st bottle at the orthopaedic clinic and have seen an improvement after approximately 3 weeks now, and I’m happy to see that they are very pleased with the result. After trying so many products on the market, they feel that this is definitely the go-to product for joint pain relief. Not to mention that it has a good mix of ingredients that benefit in many other ways as well. Highly recommend! I’m glad I can buy them their 2nd bottle online which is super convenient (plus got free delivery).

Jointplex Pro by The Supplement Clinic is built around the vegetarian- and halal-friendly Quadrium formula. The main components include ashwagandha, boswellia, ginger, and curcumin, all shown to produce therapeutic effects for the joints.

What are the effects? Based on studies and feedback: anti-inflammation, mobility/cartilage support, and anti-oxidation.

Moreover, the Supplement Clinic is one of those customer-centric brands. We reached out to them via WhatsApp, and the response was quick and informative, with their reps providing details on recommended dosage and cautions.

Delivery is even free for customers within Singapore and Malaysia. Plus, you can score a 10% discount by ordering 6 or more bottles.

Even so, the base cost is still S$67. That’s not overly steep, but there are cheaper alternatives.

The key snag is that it’s the only joint supplement of The Supplement Clinic, unlike most of the previous entries that offer different combinations with diverse effects.

Pros

  • Plant-based formula
  • Easy to reach
  • Free shipping
  • The brand has been around since 2020
  • Offers discounts and a 30-day full refund

Cons

  • Mid-range price
  • Lack of alternatives

Effective

its effective for the relief of my jointsespecially my knee. For me it works better thanglucosamine. Glucosamine is mostly marine base, anyone who is allergic to marine base products, likeme, Jointplex is a good substitute, since it is made fromherbs.

Thanks for the good product 😍👍

We’ve been mentioning ‘cheaper alternatives’ this entire article, so excluding Ocean Health, a Hyphens Pharma partner, would’ve been a mistake. After all, they sell joint supplements that fall between the S$30 and S$50 mark.

The brand has plenty of achievements as well. For instance, they received industry recognition from bodies such as Reader’s Digest, Unity, and Watsons.

We only wish they had halal-certified supplements, or at least bone-support gummies for kiddos.

To Ocean Health’s credit, they have many vegetarian options, namely the S$47 Vegetarian Glucosamine for pain reduction and mobility enhancement. Like the majority of their goods, this one has glucosamine, calcium, MSM, and turmeric.

They also have products that most brands here don’t have. Examples of that are the collagen-based powders and anti-muscle cramp/ache formulas, with the latter usually priced at just S$35 (60 capsules).

However, their physical store is normally closed on weekends, bad news if you’re not a fan of online shopping.

Pros

  • Uses glucosamine, calcium, MSM, and turmeric
  • The brand has been open since 1994
  • Low-range pricing
  • Hyphens Pharma-backed
  • Wide range of vegetarian options
  • Unique products like collagen powders
  • Awarded by bodies like Reader’s Digest

Cons

  • Lack of child- and halal-friendly products
  • Weekend closure of online store

We Saw Results

Our family members have been taking OMEGA-3 fish oil from OceanHealth for as many as 5 to 7 years already. The quality is good because we saw results for our blood tests improving when we take the supplement with changes in our diet and regular exercises. We have also noticed that this brand of Glucosamine is very popular too.
