The 5 Best Halal Catering Services in Singapore Serving Up Clean, Delicious Bites!

Food quality and variety - We looked for those offering fresh, flavourful dishes with a good balance of halal favourites and creative options.

Service and punctuality - Is there timely delivery, efficient setup, and attentive staff if service is included?

Pricing and portion size - Are there fair per-head rates with generous servings that don’t run out too quickly?

Presentation and add-ons - Does the buffet setup look inviting, with extras like decor, live stations, or customisable menus?

My entire family goes nuts over halal buffets in Singapore; we plan birthdays and reunions around them like clockwork. We’ve tried nearly every spread, but still get a tickle from encountering new ones during catered events.

We’ve come to measure good halal catering in Singapore by how quickly the trays get wiped out, and the fastest vanishing ones always come from the specialists! Here’s our pick of the best ones we’ve tried so far.

How much does halal catering cost in Singapore?

In the Lion City, halal catering prices vary by menu and service. Simple packed meals start from around S$5 to S$7 per person, while standard buffets with 6 to 9 courses range between S$12 to S$25 per person.

For premium spreads with full service, expect to pay S$30 or more per person.

The food spread at Chilli Manis Catering stood out the moment I saw it at a friend’s event. The Peranakan dishes make it one of the best buffet catering in Singapore, as they were vibrant, fragrant, and tasted freshly prepared.

There was a wide variety of options, from ayam buah keluak to kueh desserts. My kids kept going back for seconds, which says plenty about the quality (and my children’s appetites).

The setup was neat, and the party host told us how the staff moved efficiently without a fuss. Everything flowed smoothly, so she was able to relax and enjoy the festivities.

We were able to partake of the Treasure buffet, priced at around S$33 per person, which looked and tasted worth it. For 8 to 9 courses, there’s also a mini-buffet option that costs just around S$20 per pax!

However, the more premium menus can get steep quickly, pushing you to over S$40 per head. Also, during peak festive periods, their availability tightens, and surcharges might kick in.

Pros

  • Prompt, responsive communication
  • Consistent food quality
  • Elegant presentation
  • Thoughtful logistic touches

Cons

  • Premium menus can get steep
  • Far locations can incur higher charges

The food was fresh, well-packed, and arrived on time

We ordered catering for 10 pax and were really impressed! The food was fresh, well-packed, and arrived on time. Every dish—from the fragrant fried rice to the spicy stir-fried beans and flavorful mains—was delicious and enjoyed by everyone. The portions were generous, and even the desserts were a hit! Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable, tasty, and fuss-free catering!

Really impressed with the level of service

Ordered a mini buffet for 15 pax and I’m totally loving how awesome the service was! Hui Ting was incredibly helpful throughout; she even called to clarify my order to ensure I selected the right quantity. Delivery was smooth and timely. I was informed of the estimated arrival time, which gave me ample time to prepare the setup and space for the food. Really impressed with the level of service — thoughtful, efficient, and reliable! Definitely a pleasant experience overall.

We booked Rasel Catering for our wedding anniversary, and one big plus was knowing everything was halal-certified. It gave our Muslim friends full confidence to enjoy the spread without worry.

The menu was diverse, from mains to desserts, and every dish tasted balanced and fresh. We had ayam masak merah, beef rendang, grilled fish with sambal, and kueh lapis for dessert.

The crew set up the buffet beautifully with our chosen motif and colour theme and packed down afterwards without a fuss. We barely noticed them working in the background, which let us focus on the celebration.

Our guests couldn’t stop praising dishes like the satay skewers and laksa, asking me for Rasel’s details for their own events. The halal certification just sealed the deal for everyone.

The only downside is that prices are higher compared to smaller caterers, and popular dates can fill up quickly.

    Pros

    • Beautifully themed setups
    • Hands-on service team
    • Flexible menu customisation
    • Front and centre halal certification

    Cons

    • Prices can get steep for more elaborate menus
    • Popular dates sell out fast

Splendid food! Good services! Grand decor!

Splendid food! Good services! Grand decor! Recommended for all family and company functions. Staff were polite and proactive, and always smiling. Miss Kelly took the time to explain the different dishes available. I was genuinely impressed.

    The food was amazing

Ordered for the first time after trying Rasel catering at a work event and really enjoyed it! The food was amazing, and all my party guests loved it too. Special mention to Jamie for being so responsive and accommodating to our requests and questions. Will definitely order from them again for my next event! Laksa was super yummy, and so was the Indonesian butter chicken. Highly recommend!

Our office went with Bayfront Catering Services for a celebratory party, and it was a solid choice. The food arrived hot, fresh, and fully halal-certified, which pleased everyone.

The menu had a good mix: think butter chicken, sambal fish, stir-fried greens, and assorted kueh. Nothing felt skimped, and the portions, even with dozens of famished office-types, were generous.

The staff handled everything efficiently, much to the relief of the HR team. Cleanup was quick, so nobody, not even the maintenance staff, had to worry about the mess.

The regular buffet we chose ran for about S$15.80 for a 7-course (plus 1) menu. We found it reasonable for the spread, and the presentation made the buffet table look festive without going over the top.

If there’s a con, menu options lean towards familiar staples, so adventurous eaters may want variety. Delivery can also be affected during peak hours, leading to slight delays.

    Pros

    • Transparent and tiered buffet pricing
    • Clear halal advertising
    • Punctual delivery
    • Offers both full and mini buffets

    Cons

    • Menu options are staple-focused
    • Could do with more veggie options

Really loved that it came with all the necessary utensils

Ordered a mini catering for 8-10pax. Food arrived fresh, warm, and on time. See photo (minus the pizza). Really loved that it came with all necessary utensils (down to ladle and tongs as well).

    Will surely return for more

Very professional presentation of food. Was served by Ah Teck, who made the effort to ensure the food setup was at the best possible location. Drinks, rubbish bin, and tray holders placement were carefully thought out. Food quality is good, with my visitors passing very good comments on their curry. 1st time ordering from Bayfront and will surely return for more.

My husband and I were invited to a colleague’s wedding, which was served by Four Seasons Catering. Suffice it to say, we were blown away by the halal-certified spread, which was freshly cooked and tasted authentic.

The spread was varied; we filled our plates with sambal prawns, roasted chicken, and local desserts. We noticed how quickly the trays were topped up, so no guest missed out on the popular dishes.

The staff managed the buffet line smoothly and kept the setup tidy throughout (including my husband’s embarrassing ladle-splashing manoeuvres). I also stayed around for the cleanup, which was quick and unobtrusive, so the newlyweds didn’t lose their poise.

Many of us left noting Four Seasons Catering for our own future events. My husband and I especially liked how the presentation was elegant without being overdone.

However, premium packages can get pricey, especially with add-ons like decor or live stations.

    Pros

    • Standout signature dishes like ayam rendang
    • Halal certification is prominently maintained
    • Transparent menu and tier pricing
    • Offers creative party themes

    Cons

    • Some inconsistent portion sizes
    • Premium packages can get costly

Fast and prompt in responding to all enquiries

The food quality is excellent, fresh and delicious. Delivery is on time, and the delivery person is friendly and helpful. A special thanks to sales personnel Adel, who is great to work with, always fast and prompt in responding to all enquiries. Any doubts or questions are clarified within the same day.

Overall, I’m happy with their service

Thanks, Four Season, for having 20pax with buffet setup, good for small-scale lunch. I received feedback that the food is tasty and laksa is also nice. The only thing I want to highlight is that the prawn size was too small, and the cheese cake was already soft when received. Overall, I’m happy with their service, thank you, Adel, for the arrangement.

My kids and I went to a community event catered by How’s Catering recently, and the experience left a strong impression. There were no compromises on both halal certification and taste; every dish looked and tasted thoughtfully prepared.

The menu had a solid variety, from classic curries to lighter sides. Each tray was topped up promptly, much to my kids’ delight. There was no overcooked or soggy food. Everything tasted fresh.

It helped that the buffet layout was tidy and intuitive, which kept the food traffic smooth. It’s no small feat for a lively event that was attended by picky seniors, boisterous kids, and everyone in between.

For a community event, the cost felt justifiable, given the quality. Many attendees asked the organisers about the catering, as they were impressed with the clean and welcoming presentation.

However, on busy dates like wedding season and on Christmas, CNY, or New Year’s Day, their availability tightens. It’s best to book them well in advance.

    Pros

    • Self-heating mini-buffet sets for freshness
    • Proven track record of halal certification
    • Affordable and premium buffet sets
    • Elaborate and polished setups

    Cons

    • Festive packages can get pricey
    • Some lukewarm food due to traffic delay

Everything was well prepared and thoughtfully arranged

We were very pleased with the catering. The portion sizes were generous and more than enough for our guests. Everything was well prepared and thoughtfully arranged, including tableware and utensils. The food tasted very good, and the overall service was excellent. Thank you to the team for the effort and attention to detail. Highly recommended!

    Overall satisfied with the food

Ordered 2 mini buffets for housewarming. SG60 raffles set and the menu, A buffet. The orhnee, crabmeat pasta, curry and many more were really good! Overall satisfied with the food, and the portion is really a lot. They even provide disposable tablecloths, paper plates, utensils, etc. Jacqueline, the salesperson, was really friendly and patient in answering my queries. Highly recommend ordering from them again.
