Getting to ARTBOX: The ARTBOX Express

The journey to ARTBOX is no ordinary commute; it’s part of the experience! For just S$0.50, you can hop on the ARTBOX Express shuttle from *SCAPE, complete with creative takeovers by Chang Beer and PacificLight. 

Each ride will feel like a mini pop-up art gallery, showcasing works from 32 talented artists, while live music and interactive displays at the bus stop add to the excitement. 

ARTBOX Estate: A Creative and Caring Playground

When you arrive at the ARTBOX Estate, you’ll be greeted with a burst of colour and energy. At the heart of the event stands the Hero Structure, a towering three-level masterpiece crafted from stacked shipping containers, designed in collaboration with the PHUNK Collective.

This vibrant playground promises a mix of creativity, community, and meaningful experiences. Inside, there’s plenty to explore:

  • The ARTBOX Convenience Store: Don’t miss the exclusive artist-designed merchandise, including hand-drawn chess-themed pieces created by Aliwal Chess Club and 32 talented local designers.
  • Unlock Goodness with SōngHè: Have fun while giving back! Participate to score surprise boxes and help donate rice to Food from the Heart, supporting those in need.
  • The Great Singapore Give: Stop by the Singapore Red Cross booth, where you can contribute to their blood donation drive. Check out the murals created by beneficiaries of their programs, adding a heartwarming and artistic touch to the space.

Surrounding the Hero Structure will be a communal space designed to mirror the warmth of Singapore’s heartlands. Here are some highlights:

  • Open Mic by Teo Heng: Who doesn’t love a good karaoke session? Step into the spotlight in a basketball court setting, and let your voice shine as the crowd cheers you on.
  • Aliwal Chess Club: This is not just chess; it’s art! Life-sized chess pieces designed by local and regional artists turn the traditional game into a creative masterpiece.

Fridays will feature Mandopop and K-pop hits, Saturdays will bring groovy fusion vibes, and Sundays will be a nostalgic trip with 90s classics performed by local bands like The Mad Trios and Too Much Drama.
