When I visited this campus, the first thing that struck me was how happy and confident the children were. They greeted visitors warmly, waved enthusiastically, and even initiated conversations on their own, reflecting a community that truly lives by the belief, “Where every child blossoms!”
The friendliness extended to everyone around them — teachers, aunties, and even the centre’s principal and owners. Some children even gave hugs as they walked by, which highlighted the genuine warmth and sense of belonging present throughout the environment.
The campus exudes a calm and welcoming atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and unhurried. Teachers spend quality time engaging with the children and fostering meaningful interactions, which plays an important role in healthy development, and it was impressive to see some children as young as playgroup communicating clearly and confidently.
The centre’s owners, including the Principal, are very hands-on and actively walk around to ensure that both quality and safety standards are consistently maintained. One moment that stood out was seeing teachers patiently tying the little girls’ hair into neat ponytails — a small but telling example of the personal care and attention children receive each day.
Their programme goes beyond the basics, offering inclusive enrichment activities that support each child’s holistic growth. Character development is a clear priority, with teachable moments used intentionally to guide behaviour and decision-making, reinforcing their philosophy: “While others teach penmanship, we cultivate leadership.”
Children also get to explore activities like coding (offered on an ad hoc basis), speech and drama, gym, and science discovery — all within the centre, without the need for separate weekend classes. They also enjoy outdoor walks and playtime within the safe compound of the condominium, allowing them to connect with nature in a secure and supervised setting.
The management places a strong emphasis on close partnership with parents, fostering mutual trust and open communication with a shared focus on each child’s well-being and development. They cultivate leadership and character from an early age, and this is reflected in their alumni, some of whom have gone on to take on student leadership roles such as Head Prefects in their respective primary schools, including Yishun Primary School and Xishan Primary School.
Mr Yap the owner of the school gives a very personalised touch to Little Petals, teachers are very loving and know each child well. My child has attended Little Petals from 18 months to K2, and he enjoys school very much! I like to close communication Little Petals has with parents, thank you for giving my child a good environment the past few years!

Finding a place with decades of community trust is a huge relief for any parent navigating the busy preschools landscape.
Established in 1991, Little Seeds Preschool in Praiseland operates under the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) Partner Operator scheme, making it a highly accessible choice for families seeking capped fees.
As for the curriculum, they employ a fascinating multi-methodology that leans heavily on the Reggio Emilia approach and neuroscience-based research. With these, they aim to build children’s strong executive function skills.
Kids also spend plenty of time outdoors here, engaging in sensory activities rather than just sitting at desks.
It’s worth noting that Little Seeds Preschool is run by Anglican Preschool Services, so the daily routine incorporates faith-based devotions and worship songs. This religious integration might not align with families looking for a strictly secular environment for their toddlers.
The teachers at the playgroup level are incredibly nurturing, engaging and caring, and the environment is wonderful for young children. Special thanks to Ms. Jane for taking such good care of our child. Highly recommended if you’re considering enrolling your child at PG

My son loves his teachers and classmates. The environment is warm and welcoming and he has settled down very nicely over the last two years. Appreciate the teachers’ efforts to engage the children in both conventional academics and exploration of the world and the children’s surroundings.

Raffles Kiz is widely recognized for its award-winning bilingual immersion model, where an English and a Mandarin teacher co-lead every single class. Children naturally absorb both languages throughout the day, from playtime to meals.
As for the campus, I love how it features innovative social pods and interactive pegboard walls that encourage hands-on exploration.
Their integrated curriculum even includes culinary and speech modules at no extra cost. On the downside, this school has premium monthly pricing, which is noticeably steeper than government-subsidized centers in the neighborhood.
Furthermore, being situated inside a commercial building means the children lack access to expansive, natural green spaces for outdoor play.
A holistic childcare centre that truly looks after every aspect of a child’s well-being. The teachers are attentive and compassionate, always taking the time to understand how each child is feeling and what they need. From creating calm, comforting spaces to fostering positive friendships and healthy habits, they make sure children feel happy, supported, and understood throughout the day!

Having a single drop-off point for both an infant and a preschooler is a massive time-saver, and I quickly realized the value of this continuity when observing their comprehensive age-range setup.
Little Footprints Preschool features an engaging open-concept layout where children of different levels can interact and learn in a shared space.
While the open layout is great for socialization, I did notice that the ambient noise levels can get quite high during group activities.
This lively environment might be slightly overwhelming for children who prefer quiet study times or those needing specialized ADHD and ASD support centers.
On the bright side, they run a unique immersion program with a nearby primary school to help older kids adjust to formal education. And because they are SPARK-certified, parents are assured of a government-recognized standard of teaching and administration.
A big thank you to all the wonderful teachers at LFP for your constant guidance, care, and support. We’re especially grateful to Ms Firza, Tr Nadra, and Chen Laoshi for nurturing our child with so much patience, love, and dedication.
We’ve seen so much growth in Adam since joining LFP, and it’s all thanks to the the teachers who make learning such a joyful experience. We truly appreciate everything you do!

5. Little Green House @ Yishun

Building confident speakers and fluent readers is the main priority at this quiet, neighborhood-centric campus. Little Green House uses an acclaimed literacy program designed to sharpen listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills before the kids turn six.
Joining the Partner Operator scheme has made their programs incredibly budget-friendly for citizens. However, this combination of low fees and specialized literacy focus has resulted in very high demand, meaning prospective parents will likely face a waitlist.
I like how this facility is intelligently divided into specialized zones, such as an audio learning area and a dramatic performance stage, keeping the children thoroughly engaged. On the flip side, their void deck location also means they don’t have a sprawling private playground.
The positive side to their location is that it’s easily accessible via public transport, and it’s only a short walk from the train station.
My daughter is associated with this school for the past 2.5 years and I could not have asked for more.
I am very happy with the teachers, the way they deal with her and also promptness of the Principal.
Children get a motherly attachment to the teacher. Curriculum is also good.
I really appreciate the way they conduct all the events for the parents and the kids.

My daughter has been enrolled in the school since March 2023 and she likes her teachers a lot, always telling me about them being kind to her. Initially it was hard getting her to go as it was her first time attending school, but the teachers made it easier for her to transition to school life. She has learnt a lot in the past 7 months and I’m thankful she is now looking forward to go to school.
