1. Restaurant Fiz

Website
Address: 21 Tanjong Pagar Road, #01-01/02
Contact: +65 9679 8021 (Call/WhatsApp) | [email protected]
Hours: Lunch: Tuesday–Saturday noon–3 PM; Dinner: Monday–Saturday 6 PM–10 PM
Restaurant Fiz gives Southeast Asian flavours the fine-dining treatment, and it’s anything but your usual makan session!
We love how its Nusantara-inspired kitchen puts traditional smoking, fermenting, pickling, and curing techniques to deliciously creative use.
Better yet, you won’t have to commit to a lengthy tasting menu just to enjoy the experience. There’s an à la carte selection, a shorter lunch menu, and the full Sajian Warisan experience for those ready to splurge.
Vegetarians aren’t left out of the feast either, thanks to a dedicated Sajian Warisan menu. Meanwhile, the private dining room seats up to eight guests, making it a cosy choice for intimate celebrations.
That said, diners with severe seafood, chilli, coconut, or allium allergies may need to dine elsewhere, as the kitchen can’t accommodate these restrictions.
Private dinners also come with a S$2,500 minimum spend, so your special occasion will need a pretty generous budget.

“A truly well-worth fine dining experience”
A truly well-worth fine dining experience with EP 3.0 Sajian Warisan. The curated meals did not disappoint. Each dish gave us a unique experience that we never tried elsewhere before.
Fiz Kaya Toast and Ang Kar Prawn left us wanting more. However, serving sizes were just about right. All main dishes and desserts were enjoyable. Good place to celebrate a special occasion.
Service was top-notch and there were no issues with amendments to the reservations. Highly recommend.

2. Restaurant JAG

Website
Address: #02-02, 41 Robertson Quay, Singapore Tyler Print Institute (STPI)
Contact: +65 6304 3047 | [email protected]
Hours: Lunch: Wednesday–Saturday noon–3 PM, last reservation 1 PM; Dinner: Tuesday–Saturday 6 PM–midnight, last reservation 9 PM
Who says vegetables have to play second fiddle? At Michelin-starred Restaurant JAG, seasonal greens steal the show, while French culinary finesse gives even the humblest produce a serious glow-up.
Even better, you won’t have to settle for a one-size-fits-all tasting menu. Choose from Opulent, Grand, or Light experiences, or go à la carte if you’d rather call the shots!
And if your dining party has different dietary needs, JAG makes life easier. The kitchen caters to vegans, pescatarians, and gluten-free diners, while thoughtful wine pairings round out the experience beautifully.
Plus, its elegant Robertson Quay setting adds a lovely touch to anniversary dinners and special celebrations. It’s a refreshing pick for anyone who wants fine dining that puts vegetables first without necessarily skipping meat or seafood.
That said, dietary requests need three days’ advance notice, so spontaneous changes aren’t really on the menu. Cancellations within 72 hours can incur a S$150-per-person fee, making firm plans a must.

“Strikes the perfect balance between being professional and proper”
Not every day you come across a Michelin-starred restaurant that strikes the perfect balance between being professional and proper, yet warm and genuinely personal and Restaurant JAG does this beautifully.
The concept itself is very unique, with a strong focus on vegetables (worth looking up their philosophy online), and it really sets JAG apart from the usual fine-dining experience. From the moment we stepped in until the time we left, we truly felt at home.
The team was friendly and attentive, with just the right amount of small talk; never awkward, never intrusive…

3. VUE

Website
Address: OUE Bayfront, 50 Collyer Quay, Level 19
Contact: +65 8879 0923 (WhatsApp) | [email protected]
Hours: Weekday Lunch: Monday–Friday 11:30 AM–2 PM; Saturday Lunch: 11:30 AM–4:30 PM, last order 2 PM; Dinner: Monday–Saturday 5:30 PM–midnight, last order 10:15 PM; Al Fresco Spritz Bar: Monday–Saturday 5:30 PM–midnight, last order 11 PM
At VUE, Marina Bay brings the drama, and the kitchen makes sure the food keeps up. Perched on Level 19 of OUE Bayfront, this swanky spot serves sweeping skyline views with a side of serious culinary flair.
But there’s more to VUE than pretty scenery. Its binchōtan charcoal grill works magic on premium steaks, seafood, and seasonal produce, giving each dish a deliciously smoky edge.
Meanwhile, Singapore’s first rooftop spritz bar makes pre-dinner drinks feel like an occasion in themselves. Wine lovers can explore a cellar stocked with over 1,000 bottles, while private dining for up to 12 guests adds extra exclusivity.
The catch is that VUE isn’t halal-certified, so it won’t suit diners who require halal-certified meals.
Private dining also comes with a minimum spend of S$150++ per person for lunch or S$250++ for dinner, so intimate celebrations can quickly become a pricey affair.

4. Odette

Website
Address: 1 St Andrew’s Road, #01-04, National Gallery Singapore
Contact: +65 9822 8283 | [email protected]
Hours: Lunch: Tuesday–Saturday, last seating noon–1 PM; Dinner: Monday–Saturday, last seating 6:30 PM–8:15 PM
Three Michelin stars and not a single dish phoning it in? That’s Odette for you, where Chef Julien Royer turns seasonal ingredients into edible works of art inside Singapore’s National Gallery.
But there’s more to this culinary heavyweight than fancy plating. Its modern French cuisine blends classic techniques with thoughtful Asian influences, giving familiar flavours a deliciously sophisticated twist.
Meanwhile, vegetarians can join the atas dining experience with the dedicated six-course Nature & Découverte menu.
We love that wine lovers are in equally good hands, thanks to knowledgeable sommeliers who know their way around a well-curated cellar.
And for special occasions, Odette’s elegant setting makes anniversaries and milestone celebrations feel extra memorable. It’s the kind of place where dressing up and splurging a little feels entirely appropriate.
That said, the kitchen can’t accommodate dairy allergies or intolerances, despite offering a vegetarian menu. Reservations require a non-refundable deposit, so make sure your plans are firm before committing.

“The sesame loaf in particular was absolutely sensational”
This is my second visit to Chef Takuya’s one‑Michelin‑starred Whitegrass. The restaurant builds upon French culinary techniques while weaving in Japanese influences. There are plenty of highlights across the full tasting menu: high‑quality ingredients, well‑balanced seasoning and precise cooking temperatures.
Whether it was the pigeon or beef main course, each was perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside, tender within and bursting with juices. Their house‑baked bread easily ranks among my top three restaurant breads this year; the sesame loaf in particular was absolutely sensational.
The financier dessert was beautifully executed…

I would regard this as 1 of the 1 Michelin Star dining gems in Singapore with reasonable prices, and we will definitely continue to patronise.
