The best Reiki practitioners in Singapore are deeply transformative!

Experience: This review talks about practitioners and studios with three-plus years of experience in in-person healing sessions. To validate, we scoured personal profiles and company histories.

Credentials: Our team favoured practitioners with certifications handed by legitimate governing bodies such as the IARP and ICRT. Documents confirming specialised training, ongoing education, and awards were accounted for as well.

Demeanour: We used interviews, personal experience, feedback, forums, consults, and test calls to ensure only empathetic, calm, intuitive, and patient practitioners make the cut. Interpersonal and active listening skills were also graded.

Studio Atmosphere: We rated each studio’s ambience, aesthetics, and zen levels, prioritising those with incredibly relaxing spaces and personable staff members.

Pricing: We determined whether the hourly and/or package rates reflected the overall value. The other factors we considered were discounts, add-ons, transparency, and closeness to Singapore’s typical price points.

Singapore’s work culture is brutally competitive and fast-paced. Such a lifestyle can leave anyone feeling drained and out of sync.

So to avoid burning out, I recharge in several ways, and Reiki, a Japanese healing energy technique, is among my go-tos. I find its non-invasive nature effective at dealing with stress.

You’ll find scores of Reiki studios and practitioners across Singapore. To save you the long Google search, I found the ones with real, consistent results among clients.

If you want extra relaxation, you can also go to these massage spots after your session!

How much do Reiki sessions cost in Singapore?

Most Reiki sessions in Singapore cost between S$150 and S$190 per hour; house visits usually incur an extra S$40–S$60 fee. Some practitioners bill per package, with S$490–S$850 as the usual range for 3–6 sessions.

1. Reiki Glow Singapore

reiki-glow-singapore-logo

Address: 116 Changi Rd, #03-08 WIS@Changi

Contact Details: +65 9488 2454

Operating Hours:

  • Tue to Fri – 11 am to 9 pm
  • Sat to Sun – 10 am to 5 pm

Website

Reiki Glow is one holistic studio that goes beyond traditional Reiki. Here, you can turn up for private healing, sound healing, group, and pet-based sessions.

Advanced and entry-level workshops are offered as well. The lessons focus on theory and hands-on practice of the Usui method, which is built around self-healing first, though you can also learn how to pass it on.

It’s Elaine Victoria Yang who’ll show the ropes. Her career started way back in 2011, and it becomes obvious once she breaks down hard-to-grasp concepts through analogies and real-life examples.

I put her biggest strength down to the use of other modalities, mainly crystals, breathwork, meditation, and yoga. Most picks don’t branch out to other practices.

The drawback is that she doesn’t charge by the hour. Reiki Glow is a package-based studio.

And you won’t see other teachers. It’s just Elaine, so book as soon as you can!

Pros

  • Employs other modalities
  • Decades of experience
  • Accepts home and hospital bookings
  • Open since 2012
  • Speaks Mandarin and English

Cons

  • Doesn’t charge by the hour
  • Limited to one teacher/practitioner

She is generous

I’ve known Elaine for many years as her Reiki student, and throughout that time she has offered unwavering guidance, support, and deep wisdom. As a teacher, she is generous with her knowledge and truly invested in her students’ growth. I’ve also attended her sound baths over the years, and they continue to evolve. Each one more expansive and powerful than the last.

I’ve also received Reiki from Elaine, and I always leave her sessions feeling peaceful, grounded, and deeply rejuvenated. Her practice has clearly advanced and deepened over the years, and I could genuinely feel a profound energetic shift after my most recent session.

On a personal level, Elaine is kind-hearted, compassionate, and deeply supportive, with a sincere care for her students and clients. For anyone seeking a practitioner who is skilled, authentic, and truly pure of heart, I highly recommend Elaine.

Safe, Kind

This is my first experience of reiki and I’m so glad I found Elaine’s work. She was incredibly skilful and astute in identifying the crux of my struggles at the get go and each session was attuned to my needs. She provided a safe, kind, and healing space for me to process my emotions at my own pace. I was surprised at the progress I’ve made in my healing work in just 3 sessions. Thankful to Elaine and highly recommend her to anyone who is keen to learn more about reiki!

2. Ashati Institute

ashati-institute-logo

Address: 137 Market St

Website

What’s special about Ashati Institute is that you can either learn the craft for self-healing or simply get treated by a qualified practitioner.

Like our recent entry, they’re also multi-modal, but the methods they incorporate into Reiki are different. Ashati, a chakra healing technique said to induce a meditative state, is the best example.

Subconscious exploration is another modality they employ. As the name suggests, it revolves around the subconscious, taking clients on a deep journey that’s intended to reveal tucked-away emotions and create space for clarity.

Many claim it’s not just empty promises. In fact, we came across regulars who raved about achieving inner peace and emotional balance after going to Ashati Institute.

However, one snag is that their process can be pretty time-consuming. That’s quite true for those keen to master Reiki, as students must practice self-healing for 21 days.

Workshop slots are limited too. It’s best not to dawdle.

Pros

  • Started in 2008
  • Multi-modal approach
  • Offers in-person and online classes
  • Has several teachers/practitioners
  • Supports self-paced learning with resources

Cons

  • Time-consuming
  • Limited slots

Wonderful Experience

Taking the Ashati training with Jasz has been a wonderful experience for me. I have developed stronger intuition, and I’ve found more peace within myself while staying unaffected by negative energies around me.

Deeply Transformative

I recently completed the Healer Training course with Ashati and found it to be deeply transformative. The attunements were powerful, creating noticeable shifts in energy, clarity, and emotional balance. The course is well-structured, beginner-friendly, and offers profound inner healing. It goes beyond technique—guiding you into deeper self-awareness and energetic alignment. Highly recommended for anyone on a spiritual or healing path.

Operating Hours: Daily – 11 am to 9 pm

Rookie-friendly might be the most fitting adjective for XunReiki. You see, beginners looking to explore traditional Reiki seem to favour the studio a lot.

The staff are a big factor why. Interviewees brought up names such as Eric and Yiling, teachers generally praised for their highly personable and supportive approach.

They’re responsive too. Questions, even sceptical ones or those raised outside of appointments, are answered fast and clearly through in-person classes, support groups, and online chats.

Just remember that XunReiki opened doors in 2022. Compared to our decade-old picks, their longevity is modest.

Another bump to note is their popularity in both Reiki classes and treatments, making slots competitive. Early reservations pay off.

The upside is you can book private treatments/lessons, and XunReiki is only 20 metres from the Tai Seng MRT Exit A.

Pros

  • Highly supportive environment
  • Patient and responsive teachers
  • Convenient location
  • Has classes in Mandarin
  • Free events and snacks

Cons

  • Relatively new
  • High demand = limited availability

Amazing Journey

Started off as a client of Eric, then went for a FREE reiki day with him and his team. Experience good outcome and decided to pick up my learning from this great Master to start my personal healing journey. Eric is a humble and down to earth Master, always ready and willing to share his wisdom and knowledge. Def had an enjoyable class !!

In addition to the various class, the amazing Angel class is definitely a leap of faith course that has given me another perspective of healing courses. It’s has been amazing journey thus far as I have personally benefited from Angel healing class, and assistance from Angel in all aspect of my life.

Thank you Eric!

4. Healer’s Lodge

Operating Hours: Tue to Sun – 11 am to 8 pm

Website

Healer’s Lodge is one of the city’s most reasonably priced Reiki studios. An hour of hands-on healing often runs me S$180 (S$450 for three sessions), which isn’t shabby for Singapore.

Of course, the best part is the results. A deep sense of physical and emotional relaxation tends to wash over me post-healing sessions, something most clients also feel.

Fur parents are among them. Yup, animal Reiki healing is offered, and those we spoke with noticed it reduced their pets’ anxiety (these animal communicators can help too!).

The catch? Teacher Karen is the sole practitioner on deck. I find her patient, gentle, inclusive, and effective, but having only a single option can lead to scheduling bumps.

And what makes it even trickier is the fact that Healer’s Lodge isn’t open daily.

But hey, the studio has some unique offerings, with the retreats and discounted trial sessions being my personal faves.

Pros

  • Open since 2020
  • Reasonable pricing for one-on-one sessions
  • Can provide Reiki healing for pets
  • Hosts immersive retreats
  • Offers trial sessions

Cons

  • Limited to one teacher/practitioner
  • Doesn’t operate daily

Interactive and Fun

I truly enjoyed the reiki classes i attended with Teacher Karen at Healer’s Lodge.

The pace was perfect, she was patient, accomodative and very inclusive. There were multiple hands on activities which were interactive and fun.

Though the classes have ended, the knowledge and belief I gained from Teacher Karen is a lifetime.

Super grateful!

Loving

Teacher Karen is a very professional and excellent Reiki healer. To me, what makes a healer a good healer? The ability to hold space for the clients, the heart for it. Teacher Karen is gentle, patient, kind, loving and unassuming. All these make me feel I can fully trust and relax in her good healing hands, which allow me to go so very deep in the healing that I needed each time. So far, she is the only Reiki healer I feel trusting to go.

5. BodySpiritSoul

Address: 257 Arcadia Rd, #14-04

Contact Details: +65 9236 6303

Operating Hours:

  • Mon – 9 am to 5 pm
  • Tue to Thu – 9 am to 6 pm
  • Fri – 9 am to 5 pm
  • Sat – 9 am to 12 pm

Website

Susanna Rueegger Koechli is BodySpiritSoul’s top feature if you ask us. I mean, you don’t stick around for 15-plus years as a Reiki master and a transformative coach by providing poor services.

We hit up her clients, and several backed that up, including parents who dropped by with their kiddos. Improved relaxation and reduced anxiety were the standout effects they noticed.

The low fees only sweeten things; a single Reiki treatment costs S$122 (S$333 for three sessions and S$990 for 10). That’s the lowest rate in this roundup!

Unfortunately, Reiki courses are limited to only five students per session.

Classes taught in Mandarin would be a nice perk, too. Only German and English sessions are offered.

Format variety isn’t a concern, though. Group, private, in-person, and remote meetings can be set.

Tenure is another positive. BodySpiritSoul opened way back in 2007!

Pros

  • Open since 2007
  • Led by an experienced practitioner
  • Low rates
  • Flexible format variety
  • Has services for children

Cons

  • Limited slots
  • No classes in Mandarin

Five stars all the way!

I recently completed this mindfulness course, and I can’t recommend it enough! The course was expertly structured, providing clear, actionable techniques that helped me cultivate a sense of calm and focus in my daily life. Susanna is warm, knowledgeable, and made the material both engaging and easy to follow. I particularly appreciated the guided meditations, which were incredibly helpful in grounding me during stressful periods. Since completing the course, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my mental clarity, emotional balance, and overall well-being. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced in mindfulness, this course is a game-changer. Five stars all the way!

Sweet and Calm

Susanna is amazing! My son Oliver took some of her mindfulness sessions and even though he is a very active boy, he enjoyed staying in front of the camera to listen to her. She is sweet and calm and kids can feel it. I saw an improvement in Oliver’s ability to calm down and focus and he was even teaching us how to do some of the breathing exercises. While I am writing here, I asked for his feedback, the only think he has to say is: I love you Susanna! So I would like to thank you for this great journey in the past few weeks.
