It’s also one of the quietest ceiling fans we’ve encountered thus far. Those who don’t think that silence is an important factor in an air-circulating appliance have probably spent more sleepless nights than they care to remember.
That said, it isn’t the most stylish ceiling fan for those who want everything in their interiors to match or be harmonious. It does come in four colour options (including antique bronze) though.
But with all the important features that make the Samaire Fanniti both efficient and cost-effective, we find that this hardly matters.

The KDK R48SP is a no-frills, highly affordable ceiling fan whose timeless design will suit most HDBs and small apartments. Still, others who want something more visually exciting might find the design of this one too plain.
The price tag will also suit most budgets, as it’s below S$300. For this price, we’re happy to see that it comes with remote control functions and even a sleep mode.
Alas, it only comes with a year’s worth of manufacturer’s warranty. And those expecting dual airflow functions won’t find them with this unit, as it only rotates counterclockwise.

The Cresta NinjaAir is easy enough to install, but those with false ceilings will require new support to accommodate its weight.

“This is the second time I have bought from them, and I find that quality is good for the price. Most local stores carry roughly the same ceiling fan product range. I choose to purchase from them primarily because of their attractive prices. The new fans replace inexpensive ones that were more than five years old. There was nothing wrong with them. They weren’t very loud, had three fluorescent lights and came with two pull chains, one to control the fan speeds and the other to control the lights. What they did not have were LED lights and remotes. This probably isn’t a big deal to most but I really needed brighter LED lights, newer designs and a handy remote.
