The 5 Best Luxury Interior Design Companies in Singapore Elevating Shops
I’ve spent a substantial amount of time digging into the portfolios and even stepping into the spaces shaped by the best luxury retail interior design firms of Singapore.
Watching their process up close, I saw how branding, craft, and flow come together in real life. Each firm has its own way of balancing spectacle with substance, from polished showrooms to immersive store experiences.
Here’s my take on the ones that truly stand out in the Lion City’s luxe interior design scene.
How much does luxury retail interior design cost in Singapore?
Expect the budget to be at least S$30,000 to S$60,000 for a comprehensive, luxury-level interior design package.
Designer fees typically comprise 10% to 15% of your total renovation spend, which translates to around S$5,000 to S$7,500 on a S$50,000 project.
1. Positive Design

Address: Upper Paya Lebar Rd, No. 73
Contact: +6567411182
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM–6 PM
I’ve seen Positive Design’s retail interior design portfolio, and it’s clear they bring the same level of polish to each client they work with. From luxury fashion houses to wine and spirits brands, their projects speak for themselves. Each space feels like a polished, seamless extension of the brand’s world.
What impressed me most was how the firm weaves branding into every corner. From the lighting to the layout, every element feels intentional, and stepping inside is like stepping into the brand’s identity.
The craftsmanship is equally striking and hard to miss: marble counters, custom fixtures, finishes that look and feel elegant, with innovative solutions incorporated where needed. The details are finely tuned and supported by rigorous quality assurance, ensuring the results are as enduring as they are beautiful.
The beauty doesn’t get in the way of functionality, either. The spaces may be high-end, but feel welcoming by way of thoughtful flow, circulation, and lighting, a balance Positive Design consistently achieves across industries.
If there’s a catch with Positive Design, it would be the cost. While they globally offer a diverse suite of customised solutions for every client, regardless of whichever project stage the client is at, their services generally do come at a higher fee. Premium design doesn’t come cheap, after all.

2. Editor Interior

Address: 33 Ubi Avenue 3 #07-06, Tower B Vertex
Contact: +6569805771
Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10 AM–6 PM
I’ve walked through Editor Interior’s work in projects like Park Greenwich and One Shenton II, and the firm’s flair for modern luxury is unmistakable. Each space feels like a showcase of sleek confidence and polished detail.
What its designers do best is weave brand identity into layouts seamlessly, so the space itself whispers its story. The material palette and lighting I’ve seen with its project One Shenton II align with the client’s purpose and persona.
Their eye for detail is sharp. I kept my eyes peeled for a misaligned joint or overlooked trim, and found none. There’s precision detailing, with crisp lines, thoughtfully placed accents, and artisanal finishes that are not overwhelming.
The downside is that it still has a resident-centric portfolio with a stronger showcase in high-end loft spaces, with retail-specific case studies less visible. Plus, as a boutique firm, Editor Interior may rely on external partners for large-scale, fast turnaround builds.
Provided top-notch service
We would like to thank Yi Yi and Chee Lin for their excellent work in the renovation of our office. From the conceptualisation to the actual renovation phase, they have sought to provide service that is top-notch. Their attention to detail, as well as the ability to translate the design ideas we have into reality, has really surpassed our expectations. On top of that, their professionalism towards the project as well as their drive to ensure perfection for us, has really left a positive experience in this journey. Beyond that, they are quick to respond to any matters arising and are always striving to address any concerns we might have. Overall, we would definitely recommend Yi Yi and Chee Lin’s services for a fuss-free renovation.

3. Quod Architects

Address: 19 Keppel Rd, #06-02
Contact: +6562351633
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM–6 PM
I first became aware of Quod Architects when I visited The Outdoor House. The firm’s knack for blending indoor elegance with Singapore’s tropical character was magnetic.
It’s one of the rare local studios confidently taking on both commercial and luxury retail briefs, turning blank shells into spaces with soul. The result: interiors that feel both welcoming and curated, thanks to the use of bold lines and thoughtful materials.
I’ve become more familiar with the firm’s residential work, such as the sustainable 88 Coronation Residence, which fuses environmental mindfulness with luxe spatial storytelling. There’s natural timber, and even a 12-metre tree growing through the house!
The tight-knit team of seven manages the design and site coordination by themselves; no passing the baton halfway through. This kind of hands-on approach inspires confidence in clients that every detail will be deliberate, not accidental.
That said, Quod Architects’ retail-specific portfolio isn’t out in the open, so while the team has the chops, you’ll want to ask for direct retail cases. It’s also a boutique studio, so the capacity for rapid, large-scale rollouts might need external partners.

4. AR-kee Design Studio

Address: Floor 1 Chinatown Point, 41C Amoy Street
Contact: +6564911097
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 AM–6 PM
I noticed AR-kee Design Studio’s flair when I stepped into a clinic which can be mistaken for an art gallery. Every curve and custom detail whispered luxury (and made me momentarily forget why I needed to seek medical help).
The firm’s ability to turn ordinary commercial spaces into immersive, story-driven interiors is impressive. Attention to detail appears to be AR-kee’s clear hallmark; the finishes feel carefully curated, and built elements don’t scream “mass production.”
For me, what sets this team apart is how functional each space remains despite the high-end aesthetics. Circulation, usability, and finish are all balanced, bringing forward flawless visual appeal without sacrificing practicality.
AR-kee doesn’t showcase many publicly named retail projects, though. However, that doesn’t take away from the firm’s capability, as its work on showrooms already reveals how its residential craftsmanship can translate seamlessly into standout luxury retail interior design.
I’d highly recommend them to anyone
I engaged their service in May 2021, and they are prompt and responsive when I have any queries. Any issues that I had were quickly resolved, which I really appreciated. They also managed to adhere to the tight timeline and have everything sorted by my move-in date. I’d highly recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a responsible firm.

5. DB&B Singapore

Address: 3791 Jalan Bukit Merah, #07-15/18
Contact: +6562276389
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 AM–5.30 PM
I was struck by DB&B’s ability to make Amazon’s Asia Square offices feel bespoke and brand-centric. For me, it’s corporate luxury done near-perfectly.
The firm’s capacity for turning massive floorplates into experiential journeys is what most top brands crave when it comes to immersive retail environments. The spaces they work on feel polished, but not sterile.
Its design process brings serious scale and structure to the table. Its design-build model, backed by in-house factories across Asia, means its team can manage complexity without compromising quality.
As a result, DB&B has racked up serious global recognition, with multiple Interior Design Excellence awards speaking volumes about the firm’s craftsmanship and vision.
However, its services come at a premium price, which may put the company out of reach for smaller brands. Also, its publicly showcased work centres heavily on offices, not retail, so luxury retail chops are still under the radar.
