We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Look sharp with the best tailors for business suits and wedding attire in Singapore!

Value for Money: The base prices of over a dozen tailors were compared against the fabric and stitching quality of their creations. Pricing was verified through calls and websites, while quality was judged based on our experience and customer feedback.

Turnaround Time: Tailors who usually complete projects in about 2 to 6 weeks were favoured. To confirm, we analysed client feedback, read forums/blogs, conducted interviews, and banked on personal experience.

Customer Service: The team assessed how well the tailors responded to or listened to queries, requests, and suggestions. Test calls, emails, feedback, and visits were used to come up with a grade.

Service Range: Based on service listings and queries, we selected tailors who can make (and have made) various suits, such as tuxedos, three-piece suits, and morning coats.

Experience: The list only features tailors who have at least 5 years of industry experience and a proven output of no fewer than 100 completed suits. Registry checks and portfolios were examined to verify that.

You should’ve seen my brother on his wedding day. He walked down the aisle of the venue looking like a Vogue spread in his midnight-blue suit!

Now, don’t give him too much credit. I did the digging, the shortlisting, the ‘Just try this one, bro!’ In other words, I found the right pro tailor who’d make him look his best on their special day.

Spare yourself the trouble of searching. We handpicked the city’s finest here!

How much do tailors for business suits and wedding attire charge in Singapore?

I owe my brother’s dashing suit to Mohan’s Custom Tailors. Since fully bespoke tailors are rare in Singapore these days, the 1972-founded shop caught my eye early on.

Their overall quality is what sealed the deal. For starters, they use top-shelf materials (such as cashmere and linen) imported from Italy and England.

True to their branding, personal touches are also front and centre. We chose the fabric, style, colour, and cut before the cordial staff, including the veteran Max Mohan, took over 20 measurements to ensure the perfect fit.

They didn’t overcharge or run late either. The suit’s rate was standard in Singapore (they even gave us discounts), and it was delivered in around two months, the usual lead time for a bespoke piece.

However, the office staff juggling different customers at once made a few appointments chaotic, and with the high foot traffic, it took us hours to get through measurements.

Pros

  • Open since 1972
  • Best of Singapore Excellence awardee (2007)
  • TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence winner (2017–2018)
  • Reasonable prices
  • Inclusive catalogue
  • Imported fabrics (England and Italy)
  • Fully bespoke

Cons

  • Multiple clients being served at once
  • Heavy crowd can delay fittings

Excellent Service and Great Craftsmanship

I would highly recommend Max Mohan for his excellent service and great craftsmanship. He originally made two blazers for me and these turned out to be excellent value given the quality (and number of compliments I’ve received for them). Max is now my trusted go to tailor, and I know that – every time – he will produce quality on time, and with excellent service.

Talk about experience. Must make your suits here.

Heard about this place long time. Decided to make a suit here finally. Wow. The results are perfect. Didn’t even need to alter the final product. Just collect and wear for the event. Max mohan has been doing this for 53 years. Talk about experience. Must make your suits here. Prices are well worth it. And the material. No need buying it off the shelf. This is THE place !

Common Suits positions itself as a bespoke tailoring house built around the concept of “permanent fashion” and timeless masculine style. Their philosophy focuses on helping men cultivate refined, grounded taste while maintaining a polished and confident appearance.

At the core of their service is a fully in-house production model, where each garment is crafted from start to finish under one roof. Every suit begins with a uniquely drafted paper pattern created specifically for the client, followed by hand-cut construction and carefully structured fittings.

For business wear, their suits are designed with versatility and authority in mind, making them well-suited for boardrooms and professional environments. The emphasis is on clean silhouettes, precise proportions, and a masculine aesthetic that enhances presence without compromising comfort.

For wedding attire and formal celebrations, Common Suits leans into refined elegance through structured tailoring and layered options like waistcoats. Their approach ensures a cohesive, elevated look that can be customized to match the formality and tone of the occasion.

A major strength of their tailoring lies in technical precision, with multiple fittings used to refine posture, balance, and fit. They also design garments specifically for Southeast Asian climates using lightweight canvas construction for breathability and structure.

Notably, Common Suits is recognized as a leading tailoring partner of Loro Piana, widely regarded as the top Loro Piana tailoring partner not only in Singapore but across the Southeast Asia region. This distinction reflects their strong relationship with premium fabric houses as well as their consistent standards in bespoke craftsmanship.

The client experience is built around a guided process that includes consultation, fittings, production, and final pickup. This creates a highly personalized journey where each garment is progressively refined and shaped around the wearer’s physique and preferences.

Pros

  • Multiple fitting stages for highly precise fit refinement
  • Strong in-house control over craftsmanship and production quality
  • Climate-adapted tailoring using breathable, lightweight construction
  • Versatile designs suitable for both business wear and wedding attire

Cons

  • Higher price point than RTW/MTM

Communicative and helpful throughout the process.

“Went to Common Suits for two tailored shirts. Very happy with my experience at Common Suits. Jau and the staff really know their menswear and have been communicative and helpful throughout the process. More than happy with the end result and will definitely come back again.”

Chanel was the expert

“Had an incredible experience making my first sports jacket (and a pants to go with it) with Common Suits. Chanel was the expert that attended to me and she’s great at suggesting ideas as to how I could style my jacket and what combination goes well with it. She’s also got an eye for precision and always try to spot the areas of the garment that needs for adjustments – All the while being patient throughout the process as well. Gives me a lot of confidence that the jacket and pants were going to turn out well – And boy did they turn out really well! I’ll definitely be back. Thank you Chanel, and the rest of the crew at Common Suits!”

Established in 2016, Benjamin Tay and Kevin Rocheno’s Made Suits combines modern styling with Italian touches. Out of the process come sleek ensembles that flaunt Naples’ soft look and Florence’s clean lines.

Better yet, the shop is big on convenience. Online consultations can be arranged, and clients often praise the staff for their attention to detail, eliminating the need to travel for second fittings.

The rates of Made Suits are normally within the city’s averages, too. Most of their offerings, like wedding and two-piece suits, often kick off at S$895.

Moreover, you’re only looking at a typical lead time of 4 to 6 weeks. That’s realised through tech like the Computerised Pattern Drafter, which calibrates body shapes and sizes fast.

Unlike most tailors, though, they take Sundays off. Bad news if that’s your only available day.

What’s more, discounts aren’t regularly offered, so bargain hunters might need to look elsewhere.

Pros

  • Open since 2016
  • Specialises in modern-meets-traditional suits
  • Fabrics are sourced from Italy
  • Inclusive catalogue
  • Reasonable prices
  • Offers online consultations

Cons

  • Sunday closure
  • Rare discounts

Helpful and Patient

I had a tuxedo made here recently and was really pleased with the result. The craftsmanship was solid, and the attention to detail made the whole suit look sharp and well put together. Ben and Ashley were helpful and patient in suggesting styles that suited me. The whole process was smooth. I’d definitely come back again. Thanks for a great experience!

Refreshing and Humbling

I’ve bought a total of 3 suits from Ben, with the most recent 2 being for my wedding. Every visit has been a solid experience. What I really appreciate is Ben’s no-nonsense approach—he gives honest, practical satorial advice, and I’ve learned a lot just by listening – although I was initially quite stubborn. It’s refreshing and humbling.

Started by C.Y. Chow, who was trained at London’s Savile Row, Fashion Tailors has been styling men since 1939. Their primary money-maker? English-style suits often worn by politicians and diplomats.

Just do note that women’s options are a bit sparse here, especially when stacked against the other entries.

The size range for men is a silver lining. Almost every body type or size is covered, including that of children.

Renting is also in the books, a cheaper option (S$150 to S$190) that most names skip. The in-house staff will even tailor rental pieces to your build, with several clients saying that the suits still look and feel ‘fully custom-made.’

Speaking of the in-house staff, they’re a talkative bunch, in a good way. For instance, they gave out free advice during our visit, like which suit to wear if there’s a theme.

It would’ve been nice to see more contemporary-style threads, though.

Pros

  • Longest-running name here (1939)
  • Offers affordable rentals
  • Specialises in English tailoring
  • Staff provides free advice
  • Extensive size range for men and children
  • Measurement and collection take 2 hours (for rentals)

Cons

  • Fewer options for women
  • Focuses more on traditional suits

Very Reasonable

Jimmy was fantastic. The suit fitted very well and was perfect for my wedding. He and his team really know how what to look out for when taking measurements, and I found his price to be very reasonable. Thanks for your great service! Highly recommended.

Prices Were Affordable

Excellent service! Rented a tux due to a last minute obligations the day before. Got it the next day and it fit comfortably for my black tie event! Prices were affordable too despite it being a rushed job!

With an average lead time of 3 to 5 weeks, Ehkay Corner Tailors is solid on the reliability front.

Customer service holds up well, too, especially if you visit in person. Buyer or not, their tailors normally don’t mind providing tips on pairing accessories or picking a suit style for a specific occasion or body type.

That said, they lose inclusivity points for barely having women’s wear.

Ehkay’s also doesn’t offer returns or exchanges (some entries at least provide store credits). You’ll want to be 100% sure before committing.

The bright side is that most consider their prices fair. In fact, we’ve chatted with folks who got quality suits here for as low as S$500, and cheaper rentals are on the menu as well.

We’re not knocking on their high-end deals, though. Luxury fabrics, such as Guabello and Scabal, aren’t bad scores if you have the budget.

Pros

  • Opened in 1981
  • Offers ready-to-wear rentals
  • Occasional promotions
  • Suits for most body types and sizes
  • Virtual fitting

Cons

  • Fewer options for women
  • Lack of exchange/return option

Very Professional

Came to Ehkay Corner Tailors for my first tailored suit. I went there with zero knowledge of wearing suits but Dinesh was very professional and accommodating. He explained the various styles of suits and how it can complement the wearer. I decided to go for an earth tone suit for my outdoor wedding and it turned out so well. Big compliments to Dinesh and the team for executing this so well for me. Definitely will be back here for a second pair.

– Akym Biajid, Google Review

Reasonable Price

Excellent service with reasonable price. Tailored a suit for my wedding and they were able to provide exactly what I wanted. Styles offered are modern and not outdated. Came back to tailor more trousers and shirts with them after receiving many compliments on my suit 👍🏾

As a company with over 30 years in its resume, experience isn’t something Ron Master Tailors is short on.

Beyond excellent craftsmanship, their massive set of imported fabrics keeps them relevant. Having 100% worsted wool, cashmere, and even gabardine gives the shop an edge in terms of occasion-specific styling and year-round comfort.

We also gave them bonus points for ticking the convenience box. Instead of calling, clients have the option to select sizing, style, and fabrics through the website’s customisation tool.

Going to the store isn’t a shabby move, either. Our interviewees described Ron and his in-house team as patient and fantastic at giving fashion advice, mainly regarding colour combinations (they have lots of colours here) and sizing.

However, communication over email could use some polish. Some have noted delays or no replies at all.

The women’s range is also pretty limited.

On the upside, you can catch seasonal discounts.

Pros

  • 30 years of experience
  • Digital tailoring
  • Imported fabrics (including gabardine and mohair)
  • Offers rentals
  • Extensive colour range
  • Seasonal discounts

Cons

  • Limited women’s range
  • Delayed/lack of email replies

High-Quality Suit

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a tailored suit from Ron Master Tailors, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The person I dealt with was incredibly friendly and extremely patient with my requests. Despite needing the suit on short notice, they delivered a high-quality suit that exceeded my expectations at a great price.

Exceptional Service

Affordable suits and exceptional service! Had to do mine within a short period but they managed to pull it off with a very fine quality suit. Recommended tailor! Will engage them again for future events.
