Say goodbye to backaches with the 5 best massage therapists in Singapore

  • Practitioner Qualifications: We reviewed the certifications and training backgrounds of the staff handling the treatments. Facilities employing verified experts who understand complex anatomy scored significantly higher on our list.

  • Treatment Versatility: We prioritised spots offering diverse modalities like deep tissue work, traditional cupping, and specialised injury recovery.

  • Hygiene Standards: We favoured establishments that clearly enforce medical-grade sanitation or use single-use disposable equipment for every client.

  • Pricing Transparency: Nobody likes hidden fees that ruin the relaxing vibe at checkout. We chose businesses with clear, upfront rates, no hidden fees, unexpected surcharges, or mandatory up-sells.

If you’re an aspiring makeup artist or a mid-career switcher entering the beauty industry, you already know the physical toll of the job. Spending hours on your feet or hunched over clients leaves your back and shoulders in knots.

Even wellness professionals seeking advanced upskilling, or hobbyists exploring self-care workshops, need serious downtime to recover. That’s why finding the best massage therapist in Singapore is crucial for keeping your body functional.

To help you, we’ve tracked down the top spots to help you bounce back. Read on!

Address: 20 Kramat Lane, United House Orchard
Contact: +65 8768 8214
Hours: Monday, Wednesday, 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Tuesday, Friday-Sunday, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | Thursday, 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM

Aylwin Sports Therapy takes hygiene seriously by wiping down all equipment with hospital-grade disinfectants after every session. They use a commercial-grade ultraviolet (UV) steriliser to keep tools like dry cupping cups clean and hygienic.

A client we interviewed who visited the clinic after a tough workout shared that the clinic’s attention to cleanliness helped them feel more relaxed and confident during treatment.

They also stand out because their founder is a former Singapore Under-18 (U-18) National Youth Sprinter. This athletic background shapes the team’s supportive, performance-focused approach to helping local athletes stay active and recover well.

Plus, concession rates for students and Full-Time National Servicemen (NSF) under 20 are available, making quality care more affordable.

However, they don’t allow clients to book consecutive time slots on the same day for extended recovery sessions.

Pros

  • Hospital-grade disinfection after every session
  • UV sterilisation for treatment tools
  • Founded by a former national sprinter
  • Concession rates for eligible young clients

Cons

  • No consecutive same-day appointment bookings

Customer Reviews

The session is more targeted

Just to manage expectations, this is not your usual full-body sports massage, despite the name on the website. Aylwin explained this clearly before we started and explained how his approach is different. The session is more targeted, focusing on specific problem areas and chronic muscular tightness rather than working through the whole body.

For me, the results were great. My shoulder felt significantly better and moved much more freely after the session. If you have specific areas that have been bothering you for a while and want them properly worked on, I would definitely recommend giving Aylwin a try.

The sports massage was firm yet effective

I had a great experience at Aylwin Sports Therapy. Mr Aylwin was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand my areas of discomfort before starting the treatment. The sports massage was firm yet effective, and I could immediately feel a noticeable improvement in muscle tightness and mobility.

The environment was clean, comfortable, and relaxing, and I never felt rushed throughout the session. I also appreciated the advice on stretching and self-care to help maintain the results after the treatment.

2. The Good Therapist

the-good-therapist

Website: thegoodtherapist.sg
Address: 502D Yishun Street 51, Palm Breeze
Contact: +65 9144 0143 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday-Sunday, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

The Good Therapist makes booking treatment easier with a free priority booking system. With this, clients can reserve a time slot for prompt treatment without paying extra fees, helping them avoid the long waits that often come with walk-ins.

For added convenience, the practitioners offer house calls across the island. This service suits people with limited mobility or busy schedules who find it difficult to travel.

Clients can even request a male or female therapist, depending on their personal comfort and preferences.

Plus, they take hygiene seriously by using single-use, disposable clinical supplies for every session.

But remember, visiting the physical clinic takes more effort. The studio sits inside an HDB residential complex in Yishun, which may mean a longer journey for clients who live outside the North.

Pros

  • Free priority booking without extra fees
  • Convenient island-wide home visit services
  • Male and female therapist options
  • Single-use supplies support hygienic treatments

Cons

  • Northern residential location in Yishun

Customer Reviews

I will definitely recommend him to anyone

Mr Hassan is very friendly and the therapy bed where the massage and wet cupping were done, was very comfortable.

It’s been almost half a year since I did cupping, and frankly, I have never felt so relaxed and lighter after a cupping session. Mr Hassan is proficient in what he is doing and he is also kind and understanding.

I will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a good wet cupping session. 🙂

He made the experience very comfortable and pleasant

The Good therapist, Mr Hassan, a friendly and knowledgeable guy. It was my first time trying the wet cupping and i seldom do a massage. He made the experience very comfortable and pleasant. My left shoulder felt relieved and my body felt light after the treatment. I had a good night sleep that very day. Hahaha. Thank you Mr Hassan. Will definitely return for maore session.

Website: aramsaspas.com
Address: 1384 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1, Bishan Park 2
Contact: +65 6456 6556 | Whatsapp: +65 9462 4969 | [email protected]
Hours: Sunday-Wednesday, 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM | Thursday-Saturday, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Aramsa stands out for their location inside a national park, giving you a lush, resort-style escape without leaving the city. The spa prepares fresh botanical scrubs and herbal mixtures on-site instead of relying only on pre-packaged products.

A client we interviewed who visited last month praised the fresh garden scents, saying they made the entire spa experience feel more relaxing.

Their signature Aramsa Touch combines traditional Eastern pressure techniques with modern Western bodywork. This approach uses targeted acupressure and light-to-medium lymphatic drainage to ease muscle tension and support fluid circulation.

You can even create your own aromatic oil blends at the in-house Aromatherapy Bar for a more personalised treatment.

However, they require guests to arrive 30 minutes before their appointment to register and change, which may be inconvenient if you’re running late or have a busy schedule.

Pros

  • Located inside a lush national park
  • Fresh botanical scrubs and herbal mixtures
  • Signature blend of Eastern and Western therapies
  • Customisable aromatic oil blends available

Cons

  • Requires arrival 30 minutes before appointments

Customer Reviews

It was really good whereby I fell asleep halfway through the massage

Had a wonderful first time experience at Aramsa with my partner. We did the scrub, massage, and water therapy. The front desk assigned us Ann and Maggie for the deep tissue massage. It was really good whereby I fell asleep halfway through the massage and I felt the massage could have been longer 😆

Would come back again whenever we have the time

It was as if my body was transported into another universe

My therapist was Stephanie and experienced the Garden Harmony package consisting of the following:

Malay Thermal Boreh Exfoliation, Chinese Malaka Inspired Therapy, Aramsa Touch Body Massage and Indian Head Massage

It was as if my body was transported into another universe and back again after the whole 2.5 hour session. From arrival to the end of my package, the service was fantastic and overall a phenomenal experience.

Thank you Stephanie and team!

4. Healing Oasis

Website: healingoasis.com.sg
Address: 1 Tanjong Pagar Plz, #01-47
Contact: +65 9722 2727 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday-Sunday, 9:30 AM – 10:30 PM

Healing Oasis stands out with their Double Bliss service, which lets you enjoy a synchronised massage from two therapists at once. This four-hand approach offers a deeper, full-body massage in less time than a standard session with one therapist.

They also offer great value with their signature 90-minute body massage, which includes three complimentary 30-minute add-on sessions.

And instead of limiting customers to rigid hour-long bookings, they offer treatments in flexible 30-minute slots. This setup makes it easier to combine targeted therapies or fit in a quick midday refresh.

Plus, they provide traditional Chinese treatments, including Gua Sha scraping and Ba Guan cupping, to help ease muscle tension.

However, clients who want a complete full-body treatment may need to book several slots together. These shorter sessions can also interrupt the relaxing flow of a continuous massage.

Pros

  • Unique four-hand synchronised massage experience
  • Complimentary add-ons with signature massage
  • Flexible 30-minute treatment booking slots
  • Traditional Chinese therapies for muscle tension

Cons

  • Short sessions may interrupt relaxation

Customer Reviews

The atmosphere is wonderful

Absolutely recommend. We both had the best massages yesterday. As others have commented on earlier, there are only curtains between each client, but these were always fully closed when I needed privacy such as dressing, and ladies are in a totally separate area to reception or where the blokes are. We had no concerns or issues that there aren’t individual rooms.

All the staff were lovely. The atmosphere is wonderful. I had Maya who gave a firm but perfect massage and I felt great afterwards.

Massage was insane, great pressure

I’m pretty sure my soul ascended to another plane of existence. Massage was insane, great pressure and the masseuse (who I learned was Aria) was super thoughtful – took warm weights to my back when I mentioned I was cold.

I also had a bit of issue with my back, and she custom made the massage to include more of my back and shoulders. There was a small section of head massage and face as well – is there an hour version of this?

But remember, the studio requires advance bookings for their discovery sessions. TO add, they don’t accept spontaneous walk-ins.

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. A huge thank you to Kak Ernie for her professionalism, knowledge, and exceptional care throughout my session. She took the time to understand the areas that were causing discomfort and adjusted the treatment accordingly. Besides the massage, she also performed cupping therapy for me, which really helped to release the tension in my back and shoulders. I left feeling so much lighter, more relaxed, and with significantly less muscle tightness.

Would definitely come again next time!

First time here trying out 2 hour massage with ginger therapy services.

Entered with Ana and Sef warm welcome that immediately made me feel comfortable while waiting for the room.

Then, I was paired up with Zie. A friendly and experienced masseuse. Making sure that I am comfortable throughout the process and targets most of the ‘problem’ areas without me pointing out.

would definitely come again next time!
