Here’s something for mums to be: Dr. Cindy Pang. She’s a gynaecologist who specialises in the screening, prevention, and treatment of gynaecological cancers.
On top of that, her expertise also lies in the management of complex gynaecological problems such as endometriosis, fibroids, and ovarian cysts.
Not to mention that she offers prenatal and postnatal care to expecting mothers including preconception health screenings, normal and caesarean deliveries, as well as management of high-risk pregnancies. This wide scope is exactly why she earned a spot on our list!
We’re just a bit disappointed to see her short clinic hours on Fridays and Saturdays. There are no tele-consultation options too, so you’ll have to find time in your busy schedule to see her for a consultation.
On the bright side, you can always contact her in the event of an emergency. Beyond AIA, you’ll have to verify with her staff first to know other shield plans they accept.

Dr. Tan Yung Khan of Urohealth Medical Clinic is a USA fellowship-trained senior consultant urologist.
He’s an active member of the local and international medical community, which is why we weren’t surprised to see that his expertise also lies in highly specialised procedures. This includes robotic surgeries to treat prostate and bladder cancers.
Beyond his private practice at Mount E, he’s also accredited to perform surgeries in several major hospitals in Singapore including Gleneagles Hospital and Mount Alvernia Hospital. So if you have a preferred hospital should you need surgery, you can always make arrangements with him.
What we really like about this clinic is how inclusive it is to women too. His colleague, Dr. Tricia Kuo, is one of the few female urologists in Singapore, making her a good choice for women who would be more comfortable in seeing a female doctor.
Regardless of your choice, we’re confident that you’ll be in safe hands with either of these doctors.
This clinic is also a great choice for international patients, seeing that their staff members can arrange for interpreters, accommodations, among other things.
And if you can’t make it to their clinic on short notice, you can always book a tele-consult from the comfort of your home—that’s another point for them!
